An important note is that against weaker sidelaners that try to just catch his push and not actually engage, you can either max or put extra points into W second, because the bonus ms it grants will help u chase down oponents NO MATTER WHAT. Is near impossible to run from a Shyvana with 50% bonus ms on a 5-ish sec CD.
This is true but Q ratio goes from 20% to 100% with levels I think

This is works really well for my low elo. I just play ranked to get rewards but I have been carrying with this build. This channel is one of the best guides on youtube, short and simple. One person pushed and got three inhibitor and 4 kills. Unstoppable. Thanks for the video.

As a Shyvana top connoisseur myself, i say it's a pretty underrated pick, but it's not a very easy one though, since you need to be very safe in the early game in most matchups, but once you get lvl 6 it's a completely different dynamic.
Oldtrox was the same funnily enough. You farm safely with E, heal with W Blood Thirst, and Q into W Blood Price to trade.

This is just old shyvana, my first penta ever was with her, you used to go ravenous+trinity always when Titanic didnt exist, and the jg clear was so damn fast, then for some reason Riot decided to make her a mage
Even before then you went botrk sunfire and the sort during the time it was Shyvana Mundo meta around season 3 or 4.

Riot never made her a mage, she just had an insane scaling and new AP item and Keystones just made her go that way. She was almost always played as On-Hit like Udyr, Trundle and Yi.

I played Shyv top before the buffs and even then she was sleeper op, the buffs tho plus Tri force changes probably make her disgusting. Thanks again Dobby for making such a good video teaching me so much, just like the Shyvana mid video.
She was even better with the dd, conqueror, RH and SV combo.
I have been playing full on hit shyvanna toplane recently and it is really good with PTA because of the auto Q combo.
This is fun. I just play safe early and turn into a god split machine. Sick video, amazing work as always Dobby.

Shyvana is always my go to first pick top, she don’t really have a hard counter because of how many different things u can build on her, u can do on hit, ap, ad, bruiser, full tank, all with different styles.
My personal favorite is triforce Bork+ hulkbreaker+titanic+ gage, for 14 split or frostfire+ Bork+ titanic+ 2 tank item.
Frostfire set is the easiest and most op, caz u can utilize everything in the kit, the size up + slow is amazing on her, it gives u more attack range and aoe on Q
All bruiser build can do insane damage with REQA, max health dmg, ap damage ad damage, it’s really hard to build against it. Running Lethal temple makes it even better caz of the + range
Laning is simple, u play like pussy before 6, farm and poke with E, once u hit 6, use your ult to poke and do short trades, u will have it back caz no top laner can tank her full combo, just REQA and W to run away til they are low. Your only weakness is you need a team that knows how to play 14 split, , you need to hit E to win, you need ghost to win any fights.
your build works 10x better, this build looks easy to outplay
This reasoning is why I love playing Rengar top. You can build so many different ways that all change how and who you engage or deal with the enemy team; picking and choosing what your team needs.
@@set4r ye frostfire is really op on her, caz the slow can help you stick on people, she got enough dmg already, so unless you are trying to do the split push set, frostfire is better for team fights
What is 14 split? Split push at 14 minutes?
@@artieschmidt3039 it means one person push one lane (probably toplaner) and other 4 push another lane. one of common tactics when u have advantage over enemy team and have strong 1vs1 champion that can drag 2+ people to defend the lane on which the "1" is on

as much as i love ap shyvana funny very dodgeable dragon E that will one shot most people, i do miss ad shyvana back when you could really duel almost any champ after getting frozen mallet and BC and going dragon, back in my days going AP was troll.
I remember the good ol days. I was Shyvana main during like s3 or smth and then I took a 6 years break from the game. When I came back I couldn't believe how bad of a duelist she had become...

shyvana top right now is so fun it reminds me of the old days when i started playing her for the first time and really enjoyed it
Just meet this build on 1 of my matchs, turn out Shyvana has a very broken synergy with tiamat, which is seem to be the core of this build damage early on. If your laner stand on a wave, EW aoe into tiamat proc deal insane overlap damage, on top of E mark on Q seem to proc tiamat 2 times as well (could be a bug). I instantly get chunk 700hp at lv5 with one of these short trade setup, on top of shyv being very fast to run alway right after and avoid counter play. At 6 is basically dragon form E poke till i'm low and dive-able with tiamat overlap. Lucky for me i play a champ that can switch to somewhat ranged combat and can avoid standing in the minion wave, so it's still comeout as a draw lane, but imagine if i'm some slow melee bruiser, i won't stand a chance against the new Shyv build

I personally find split pushing in urf and makes the enemy team miserable fun. Our definitions of "fun" are different and I respect that. But still, I love split-pushing in urf

b4 the buffs, i would go bork -> trinity -> hullbreaker / tank item so i wonder if he also did that too

Probably the AoE damage it provides: once you have ravenous hydra, you can oneshot casters with E, and simply kill melee minions with an auto attack after they were hit by it, or focus down cannon and kill the melees from the AoE+W
@@DevourerDragons i might not remember this correctly, but im pretty sure you can one shot the casters with your first item anyway if u max E (which i do at least)
still the extra time probably does allow time to roam, but im not much of one so ig thats why

you can see in the video he sometimes maxes E and sometimes maxes Q (i think in the yone matchup he upgrades Q)
the reason being is that your damage skyrockets when your E is up because thats where the max hp dmg comes from and levelling E reduces the cooldown from 12 to 8
the Q only gets better after your first item, which you get at lvl 7-9
Did you record the clips in normal games yourself and montage them? Not a pro streamer or clipped montage?
I am a noob but i still think AP shyv is better. You can still shove as hard, your E oneshots all creeps excepts canon/supers, your W speed scales off of AP so it's harder to get caught, you deal MASSIVE damage to structures (after a certain point you take down towers so fast that the demolish doesn't get to proc) and you can also help in team fights through Ulti E burst. I would usually ult in a bush that the enemy had no vision and just throw E at an enemy catching them off guard and nuking them it was just goofy.
But i guess this build is for Shyv top specifically and you need some form of sustain and tankiness to hold a candle to other bruiser types.
LOL I play shivana like that all this month, just a small change in the key rune and a couple of items but the rest is the same, and honestly she's the backdoor queen
