Fun fact. if you play against vlad and you use your W before his, you still dealing damage to him. His fog will not protect him from your sucking ability.

You forgot to mention an important fid tech: while channeling R if you press E during the channel it will fear after the blink, letting you fear outside of ult range but not needing flash like the W version
Mind elaborating? I tried it a couple ways and I think what you mean is from bush to outside of ult range and then E to fear enemy outside of range, is this it?
@@manny_here Uh i cant quite visualize what you mean but imagine this:
you are out of vision (either behind or wall or in a bush etc), you press R to ult but during the ult channel you press E, this will make Fiddle cast E right after he blinks
If you do this the E will fear even though it looked like you used it while everyone had vision on you. Because E has longer range than ult and Q, this tech is pretty useful to extend your range of catching people
If you didnt press E during the ult channel but instead after, you would just get the normal slow and silence

I've always known Fiddle is good in midlane, but I inted so much so I wasn't able to make it work to its full potential, but I'm glad this guy did.

There was a time where i wanted to make this work, i tried tank fiddle mid with frozen heart, visage and jacksho, sometimes fimbulwinter. The amount of oppression this pick has vs meelee is INSANE. My fav matchup was vs Akali because all her kit is counter by fiddle, W auto targets in her shroud and she can't burst you through your healing. Long live MIDDLESTICKS!

Fiddle jg main here, the absolute key is vision control, mind games, and PATIENCE. After you ult from certain angles like raptor pit and red/dragon bush, enemies will be wary and always try to ward, docking you the fear. Without fear on ult you pretty much int every fight. Condition enemy team to be scared of those areas and then start ulting from unusual places (the blink from ult can be HUGE at certain walls). It’s best to communicate to team that during fights they should bait the enemy to you, stalk bushes and be patient. Engaging first is good but once enemy blows their cooldowns and chase your team to you, into a mid-fight ult, it’s wraps.

This reminds me of that time I fought against a Fiddlesticks at top as Shen. It was hell since Fiddle is impossible to push against or even farm. Every time I try to CS, he will E then W me to harass. Trading is even worse since Shen only has 1 engage tool and way to cancel Fiddle's W. The moment I went in, he chunks me for half my HP with his combo.
Additionally:
When casting ult pit of vision if you immediately cast while channeling it will feat whoever you hit giving you a bit of extra feat range with R

God damn it, I have 300k mastery on the champ and I did not knew about the W-flash. You just made me learn something insane, especially when you explain the fear part with R W flash
I think if you're curious enough, you will X then instantly flash everything that's not instant-cast. Most skills that are not instant cast have like 0.25 cast time.
Mechanics like this make League have more depth, sadly Syndra's E Q skill expression was removed tho. That was also made possible cause E had a 0.25 cast time.

Still preferred that tho, your drain is more consistent in both heal and damage even w/out extra targets. Fids is still good cause most if not all of his power budget is on his really great ult.
usually in most reworks I moved on but still can't get over this, I had many memories with the old drain, but as long as they bring it back and not bad, I'm good.
@@esRaortiz was busted, if drain was on you the bounces would auto-aim towards you. any time you are close to minion wave you lose half health, I loved it
Coming from a person who plays middle sticks myself , starting playing middle sticks after seeing pants are dragon play it tanky, tried it and solo Que and had a 60 % winrate in bronze 1 at the time (yes I know it low elo and I suck ). It’s surprisingly really good (if you want to see stats ign sharkwaffle in NA )

also another tip is fiddlesticks doesnt scale well with ap except his ult. If you are facing high hp tanks better go all ap pen, that will make ur Q damage cause 40% max hp damage or more making W final tick and Ult finish the job

Fiddle is easier than most mid heroes cuz his he can sustain a lot of dmg, however being this stealthy and effective ganker sure is NOT easy ngl. Still, he's my preference against melee mid

The fact that he does take big raptor and leaves it for the Jungler so he can stack it is something people don’t even do in Diamond games. It’s insane how many in high Elo lacks info about and around the jungle. And yes I consider Diamond High Elo because the sample is ok low.
It might also just be because big raptor is awkward to take for fiddle mid as he would need to cycle through his abilities again and lose tempo in lane. I don't really see how leaving only 1 raptor for your jungler, denying them half the gold and xp is a good idea, as the jungler could just path away from the camp until it respawns.
yes obviously, but most junglers dont struggle with stacking their jungle item anyways, especially in high elo

3:09 that's not how the cooldown refund works.. The only way you don't get the 60% cdr is if you are cc'd out of it or if you cancel it early by performing another action.
he should use scary mannequin tactic sometimes. Out them randomly out in random positions and sometimes blend in. All i see is basic fiddlestick tactics and im silver.

i fought one of these in my master to gm elo and it was sht against my mid zac at the very least the fiddlesticks was a 1.5m mastery too so i wouldn't say he was scuffed about it but he probably played fiddle more in the jungle and just trying to play mid fiddle in nay cases since i was one tricking mid zac i was surprised to see an off meta mid aswell althought i would say that fiddle had a bad time against a zac since he can't really do the tricks that this vid shows and as a zac i can outheal our engages for the most part

Fun fact: If you get outtraded hard in lane you can go to your jungler camps and use W without killing the creeps. This way you will full heal and don't deny him as much as EXP to your jungler.
