@@exodus1055 Not really, he is in the middle in terms of pick rate D2+(4%). It's pretty much impossible to pick Renekton when 9 out of 10 champion sort by pickrate D2+, all hard counter him with a 53-59% winrate.

@@Aetolus Nah, in western and minor regions he's relatively unpopular but in KR and the CN super server he's a pretty popular pick because the game as a whole is more early-game centric, so a champion like renekton who enables really early tower dives is valued highly in those regions.

probably one of the most summoner spell dependant champion in the game, i have always wondered how good he would be if the bleed damage portion was removed or heavily nerfed and instead he gains movement speed for each stack active

Idk Darius gets a lot of extra dmg on his bleed so removing it or nerfing it by a lot would be a mistake
used to be like that, champion was a lot worse. Having a strong fight on a long timer is better in high elo than a shittier fight that you can always take

I would recommend people to not build Omen second item unless they're playing against a crit top laner or preferably multiple crit enemies. The game where he was playing against Trynda and Jinx was perfect for Omen but it shouldn't be pointed out as a core item because a lot of people copy everything without thinking about it. So for all those future Darius mains in my games, please don't build Omen against Malphite top and Veigar bot. P.S I know it slows but there's better alternatives like Dead Man and Force of Nature.
Lol if this was written before force of nature change i understand that but dead mans is a worthless item period. Randuins is the movespeed option thornmail is armor and sunfire is health. dead mans has no stats no value and no bitches.
@@mosdeadly98 Factual. Omen also reduces a small portion of all damage that can easly stack up to 100 in a single fight. Raw armor and HP with a slow effect stackked on top of stride. Its simply very good but not to be taken in every scenerio. You obviously dont build that against 3 ap and an adc that you will only get to see in the late game.
I play darius the same way! Definitely not with the same level of skill or knowledge but definitely squeezing efficiency out of all ways to get that passive stacked ! He's got a very clean way of playing the game!

I have music and voice lines are turned off, because it pisses me off hearing some champions talking NONSTOP (Irelia).
Turned-off champ voice and announcer a couple years ago. I only need sound ques for non-aesthetic stuff. Even on equal levels, voices often drown out skill SFX.
I'm only curious of their voice in trailers.

One of my most hated champs and turns out a lot of Darius players were not playing him as efficiently for max bleed dmg to secure a kill instead of max ult dmg

I have notice some skins have different range on abilities, I now get why he uses this skin. You can say no, but test it. There are some videos on youtube prooving my point.
What I take from this is that the average Darius player builds too much damage when the champion has more than enough just from his passive. Stridebreaker provides a useful slow, as well as movement speed and attack speed, and that's all he needs to deal his damage.

Use conqueror with sorcery as secondary tree for extra movement speed.
Buy: Doran shield, rejuvenation bead, sapphire crystal, boots.
Then upgrade your boots to plated steelcaps.
Build stridebreaker and dead man's plate. No more laning phase for Vayne top. GG
a good vayne with ghost kites darius for eternity.

You do need decent mechanics to kite and space properly but it is very doable for higher elo players.

at 9:41, Ksante could flash into the bush to the left and avoid darius’ Q altogether, and if darius chased after him, I don’t think he would have enough HP without the Q heal to withstand a ksante AA Q AA

that flash would only have any value if the ksante knew the darius would specifcally flash q there, and thought of it within the .25 seconds of q wind up

Darius had 130 HP vs K'Sante's 360 at the time of Darius Q wind-up. K'Sante was very much going for the kill and wasn't thinking about running away so trying to flash on top of Darius to avoid the Q and staying in range for the kill at the same time was the only logical play from K'Sante's perspective, I'm pretty sure. Flashing away to the left makes no sense in that moment unless you can look into the future.
