So, I clicked on the NYT recipe link and it appears to be different than the video. She added vanilla extract, but did not add clove or lemon zest. I've Googled, but have been unsuccessful finding her ACTUAL recipe. Anyone have a link?
Howabout an apple pie double crust oven temp?
I just cut my apples in half and place them face down, and bake them at 250 to 280 F degrees, then scoop the meat out of the skins once cooled superior apples so tender sweet chucks of apple, we even get a sticky caramel like stuff from the apples.

How long do u bake them?
I realized recently 300 F would produce faster better results I just check on them every 30 minutes, apple varieties can be different times but for me I noticed 2 to 3 hours most of the time you will know by the apples that have caramel like liquid from the bottom and the flesh is very soft and wrinkly
@@jasmineberry3553 Thank you! I will pick some apples and bake them in the morning..update. Made them, only cooked 1 hr 45, made soft pillowy apples, the carmel the apples make hardens the min it cools, but I really love these! ❤
