  • Planning to apply for a Philippine Visa? There are some steps and documents you should have APOSTILLED before coming to the Philippines for some visa categories. Contacts JRC: www.jrcconsult...
    / @jrcvcis-philippines / jrcvisa.cbu.ph
    Apostille is similar to a notarization but accepted between member nations. SRRV retirement visa can be initiated from your country but also must be processed by you in the Philippines. Documents such as divorce papers for 13a marriage visa should be apostilled in your country.

    There is more money made treating cancer than curing cancer. In the same way, more money is made helping you than solving your problems.

    In the next couple of weeks I will send an original copy of the visa-application-form from the embassy here in Vienna/Austria with friendly remarks for all mistakes on it back to them. The German text is often very different to the English text, and the English text is often contradictory in the same box within 2 sentences. Sometimes I understand what's meant, but the English sentence is wrong or incomplete. Whoever translated the English to German does have little understanding of German and is not really perfect in English either. No other explanation for these very confusing mistakes on an official form. Maybe that's the reason why they are currently looking for a sort of secretary at the embassy, whose duties among others will be to translate official English texts into German.

    Word is the PH gov (immigration) is coming up with a new plan to enable foreign nationals to become permanent residents. (Not to be confused with citizenship.). Has anyone heard about that?

      @AmazingPhilippines1  Před 2 měsíci +1

      There is talk of that in congress but elections coming up and everything like proposed bills start from scratch again, so don't hold your breath.

    When you started talking about the requirements/documents etc and talking about proof of pension, you didn't even start with which type of visa you're talking about.

    Any idea about this situation? For a US veteran over age 50, would veteran's disability compensation of 1650 USD/month count as a "pension"?

    So is the police clearance from the last State you were a resident of? I have switched states this year and hope to be going to the PI in the next few months. I've been in one state since 2028, but moved to the new state this year.

      Yes, I believe from the latest state as they are tied together in database also and would show past from other states probably.

    Is it possible to do a SSRV classic, but come to the Philippines first, save up the 10K plus the deposit, and then file for it. Not everyone has 11k saved and it would be easier to be living in the Philippines about a year and then file once I have all the money saved?

    • @travelinghobo
      @travelinghobo Před 2 měsíci

      There is no laws or rules that say you cannot visit the PH while saving for SSRV. I was told that the money that you give to the PRA must come direct from a US bank. (assuming you are a US citizen.).

      Example... I'm married to a Filipina. I am getting a 13A visa. JR'S fee is 37,000 Peso. Right NEXT door DUMA immigration. Their fee is 11k for my 13A. Dumaguete immigration is EASY and so nice. I have LIVED in the Philippines for 10 years. My wife and I have been to 40 islands. We lived in DRAM GUETE for Two years, from 2017-2019. It used to be a great city. NOW IT'S NOT! That's WHY they call it DRAMA GUETE. The Foreigners have Ruined Drama GUETE Good luck 🤞
