It just added to my theory that most (if not all) of Robert's characters are related lol 1. Hidgens is Ethan's grandpa (this might be a stretch age-wise but oh well) 2. Ethan's cousin oliver is hot cocoa kid 3. Hot Cocoa kids dad is the cop 4. The cop is Ethan's uncle, and Hidgens' son or son-in-law maybe? AND THEN Ted's "nerdy kid brother" is hot cocoa kid aka cousin oliver :) Also the fact that he plays Ethan *and* Ethan's dad
Fun fact: Ethan was gonna die in jane's a car, but Nick was like; No, we cant kill Robert anymore. People will say he dies all the time. Like we don't say that already...
when emma and her double were fighting, the instrumental for the part of cup of poisoned (or roasted ig) coffee “can we get a double for you” was playing and i just thought that was interesting😎
Also, when Paul has to decide which Emma to kill, the instrumental playing in the background is the 'What Do You Want Paul' theme reworked in minor key and with new dissonances added for tension
Ms. Holloway's three-teen-girl monstrosity is also definitely an allusion back to the Bill's daughter and her two friends acting as a single entity after falling under the influence of Pokotho's influence in TGWDLM... and/or an identical incident in another timeline where they succumb to the influence of Nibblenephim in Nerdy Prudes Must Die theoretically.
i love how mr hidgeons always decides to give people his musical pitch when he's putting them in grave danger also a little connection i want to add: becky was chased into the woods by her ex-husband and in "jane's a car" jane and tom end up chasing becky into the woods.
Nooo you forgot Becky and the tree, though! In "Jane's A Car" she was gonna climb a tree to get away but she decided not to because of what happened last time XD But honestly the Hidgens bits were my FAVORITE references. I was howling.
