Tunisians welcome us like brothers at Tunis Beach 🇹🇳

- In today's video, me and the British legend @harryjaggardtravel take you with to explore a few areas around Tunisia and when we make it to the beach we are warmly invited over by a couple of locals to join them. They offer us their surf board as well as buy us some tea to have with them show casing how kind and welcoming the Tunisian people are. After that, I attempt to use my Arabic skills to communicate with a driver and it is a pretty funny encounter as a seem to fail a bit but still found ourselves a destination. Later in the evening, we meet my cousin's friend who is living in Tunisia and we try out a local restaurant (me and Harry did not select it so don't blame us for us not eating local Tunisian food hahaha!!). It was a great experience there and my cousin arrives at the end of the vlog!

Loved every mins of my 10 days holiday.
Lots of love from Tunisia 🇹🇳
❤️🇹🇳🇲🇦❤️
كم انتم شعب راق و محترم تحية للمغرب من تونس
15:19 you’re really confusing the driver. I just cannot stop laughing 😂 “Echrab” means in Tunisian: I want booze 🥃 😅. And you’re insisting I WANT BOOZE, sounds like an alcoholic speaking 😂. Awesome video! Too much fun! Cheers 🍻 🥃
It's great to see you had a good time watching!!
Woow, that’s definitely interesting!! Wonder what he thinks!😂❤️
I swear at that point i wanted to interfere as fast as possible 😂😂 cuz things got worse and the taxi driving might charge them more because of the absurd touring that comed out of misunderstanding
Tunisian girls are one of the prettiest in the world and they are real wife materials enjoy your trip in my country mate
😂😂😂😂😂
We don't say Tayba in Tunisia We say " Bnina " for female and " Bnin " for male 👩🏻🍳😚👌🏻 Tayba it means a food well cooked
Woow!
Thank you so much for this!!🙌
21:58 omg I cannot stop laughing. For the waitress “ kathiir Taieba” means “very, well done” but you guys mean “very good”. She’s going to bring a super well done meat. If your beef Wellington is dry, don’t blame the chef, you asked for it 😂
when he tasted it you know damn well he didn't like it
I fall in love of this country since I visit
Much love tuni🇹🇳
Agreed, this country is wonderful!!❤️
Thanks for promoting tourism for our lovely Tunisia ! We like how spontaneous you are and the effort you are making to meet locals and speak the language ! this is impressive..
I recommend you to visit el jem amphitheatre and after that you can continue your trip to the south, a totally other nature but with the same hospitality£
Djerba Island is really worth the visit
Hope you enjoy your stay and keep that energy
Thank you so much for your support!!
It's a pleasure to be exploring Tunisia!!🙌
May you have a fantastic day and many more to come❤🥰
Thank you bro ❤️😎
😍😍❤❤@@worldnomac
hahahha I hope you guys had your headphones on not too loud, me and the British legend had to change up the opening scene to spice things up with a loud and clear MARHABA since we were inside the amphitheater! As you will see in this video, we experienced some of the best hospitality from our new Tunisian friends on the beach. This day was such a fun one meeting these guys and hanging with them on the beach.
By the way, it would be amazing if you can drop your email address at this link, I am going to be launching my clothing company soon and I will be giving away $500 worth of FREE apparel and you will be notified when we release: bit.ly/500_ApparelGiveaway
I already did drop my email ID, this was indeed a very nice video but the British legend caught me off guard!
In an Italian restaurant: Beef Wellington?! Groundbreaking! Goshhhh.... Gordon Ramsey is gonna hunt the British legend down and go Mexican on his arse 😂
Have fun Mac. 👍
Hi,
So where have you dropped the Instagram of sham's Airbnb ? I don't see it 😢
A CZcamsr visits a country to distort it, based on its poor population waiting for a homeless person to give them a little money and a hungry person who makes a backward comment We are in 2023 world I walk around all of Tunisia and I do not see scenes of poverty and deprivation, but I see them on the channel of a homeless CZcamsr who lives in the Middle Ages
Always watching your videos mac and your friends ali Harry and dany❤🇵🇭
That' great! Thank you so much for always watching! ♥ 🇵🇭
Epic journey for all you guys Brilliant
Such a great experience, thanks for watching!
Go on lad! Another Tunisia vlog. Good stuff 👍
Thank you mate!!🙌
the girl at the restaurant was confusing "tayyba" (meaning "delicious" in Lebanese) with "taayba" in Tunisian, which means "well-cooked".
You can say "bnin" (M) or "bnina" (F) for "delicious to avoid such a confusion.
😂in tunis tayba it means Horny
It's her fault he already mentioned lebanon so she should be smart and pick the word taybah for delicious
@@ykshorts6649 not really. She works at a restaurant, not doing investigations. and she doesn't have to be familiar with Lebanese dialect. He also has a weird accent so she did her best in interpreting what he said in Tunisian.
Nice beautiful flog especially by the beach how nice playing there . I hope to show us the nightlife in Tunisia
love ur videos broo im from tunisia btw
Thank you brooo!!
That Taxi ride killed me xD ! That driver was so Patient with you guys I would have started yelling at you ! We dont say cold water like you were saying it, we use the word "Berda" for cold, but whenever he asked you using the world Berda you thaught he was talking about Beer xD
What’s nice about the taxi driver ??????m
Not wearing seat belt.
Taking 20 Dinars !!!
Since when taxi driver do this ???
You get in and they put the meter on like they are suppose to do.
Some of these taxi drivers are lowest of the low.
i live very close to where u are staying and to see where i go everyday just make me happy

Awesome ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!! ♥
y'all saying "taybe" as in delicious but the waitress was thinking of "tayba" as in cooked, adding "ktir" to it would mean "well cooked" xD
hahahah that is good to know, now we will know next time
@@worldnomac haha yeah! hope u've enjoyed ur stay ^^

The British legend 😂😂😂 that is so funny❤
He lives up to his name 😂😂😂
Great content buddy. keep it up.
Thanks!!
Appreciate it!!
Tunisia is not an arbic country. It has some arabic cultural traits, but it's "arabity" was indegenized. Tunisia has it's own dialect, that diverged from arabic. And the country has also a mediterranean, an african and european cultural traits. It's a diverse country. Not only arabic. That's what makes it amazing.
I really loved your video content, you are an awesome and an amazing human being as well.
One thing I have noticed by watching the third video is that Tunisians didn't understand the Lebanese word ''Taybe'' because it sounded like you are asking them if it's cooked enough, in Tunisian LOL
You really made me feel like I'm back home and I am really glad you had a good experience.
Keep doing what you are doing bro.
I genuinely love your videos.
You have a great soul.
Y3aychek :)
I live in Canada by the way, so far 16 years in Alberta, Calgary.

Love your arabic accent 😂👌🏻✅
Thank you!!🙏😂
Great video. During the taxi ride to the restaurant you were in "tikouhib mode" 😁
Bro no luck..this summer, July was the hottest month ever in Tunisia...personally, I spent it indoors..my holiday started in August..
Agreed, it was boiling!!
Mac and harry l love to see you together
We have such a good time together
More of Tunisia please
مرحبا بيك في تونس 🇹🇳 ❤
مرحبا في تونس 🇹🇳❤️
Awesome cartage 🎉🎉 originally by d way founded by a phoenician princess elissar....
It is a cool place! Wow
😎😎😎🎯... By d way.. Half way through... On d taxi part,, so funny 😅😅😁 after a long discussion in Arabic... So we're looking 4a restaurant 🙈🙈 and still didn't quite work
Well it's not ,Alissar did not built our country it's a fat big lie and for your general knowledge what so called phoneacians has been exterminated 100 years before Carthage was built
elissar is a legend ( There is no historical evidence for the existence of Elissar in history of tunisia ) and Carthage is a north African empire ( tunisian empire )
@@multiuniversexfdfsfds i never said its not Tunisian.. I only said original founder of carthage... It's well documented history Bro in both lebanon and Tunisia.9th century BC. How about hannibal who defended it how about the punic wars between 264 and 146 BC... How about all the phoenician writings in stone 😇.... Carthage is 100% tunisian and also has a rich phoenician heritage as well... This applies to 90% of the north face of africa as well as parts of spain and many islands in the Mediterranean.... History is just a rich mix of civilizations... Especially on d Mediterranean... Phoenician, roman, arab, etc
Aniinet Mayy in Tunisian is Dabbouza Maaa means a bottle of water. I know it's quite different lol
There is more if would like hahah.
You are just amazing bro!
Never ask taxi drivers how much you should pay they will rip you off, there's an actual counter that he can turn on and it calculates your fare based on the distance, everytime you get in and if it's not automatically on you should ask him to do it 😭
Bravoo speak Arabic too .your the best .blogger knows ecerything❤
Thank you so much ❤️
Love your videos keep it up. In Tunisia, we don't say "Yaatik el aafia". We say"Yaatik el aasba" 😉
Thank you my friend! Oh wow that is much different, I will have to remmeber that one! thank you!!
No, it's "yaatik saha", "aasba" is an insult, don't use it or you may get in trouble. The dude is trying to prank you in a bad way
Come to Sfax
Eagerly expecting reports from the protests in Lebanon! Don't miss the opportunity to make an extra couple of K.
I like perception
Thank you!!
(Ketir tayba) In the Levantine Arabic dialect, means very delicious, but in Tunisia it means overcooked. The funny thing is that the waitress understood that they wanted the food to be overcooked.. hhhh
1 tip is to never ask a taxi for the price of the ride. They all have a taximeter display near the car radio thingy and it shows the price !
Haboub Mac..Egyptians also say kulak zoa...albak tayib would be kind hearted..ur so cute with ur libnani!
You are amazingly amazing ya khaye 😛
Thank you so much for your support!!🙌
Welcome to Carthage 🇹🇳
Happy to be there!!🙌
bro if you want a local guide or something I'd love to help out
Bro I wish im one of ons ho worken there so I can talk English with you guys omg 😢
Welcome in tunisia
Pleasure to be here!!🙌
Beaches look nice there. How do you know Arabic?
They are beautiful, I know Arabic because my fiance is Lebanese so she has taught me
Bro when u get a taxi don't ask him how much Because there is a taxi fare and distances are calculated in metres, say to him Turn on the counter And say it to him in French "compteur" or in arabic شغل العداد يا خيي ههه
when you said you wanted your dish to be "ketir tayba" she understood it as "I want my dish overcooked" because "tayba" means cooked more than it mean good
I just wanna say that arabic is a hard language and you are doing a great job at speaking it !
Thank you so much!!
Indeed, it’s hard but giving it a shot!!🙌
❤❤❤
Thank you so much! ♥

Hi Mac, just to let you knew Ya-Atteek Al-Afya in Tunisian and northern African Arabic means that you wish him to be burn in fire! , Al-Afya means fire!, you should say Ya-Ayashik - meaning good give you health
We Tunisian drink tea in 50°C😎
welcome to tunisia
Thank you so much for welcoming me!
Taybe in tunisia doesn't mean "delicious", it means "very well coocked"
Bro anywhere You Go You must Ask first how much You pay . For exemple taxi must put clock and pay what s written in Screen . Bad people everywhere . Wish that You Like thé trip
Just for you’re information ketir tayba in Tunisia means well done so probably you’re beef wellington was well done 🫣🤣
you are welcome
You are realy funny man wen you are speak arbic 😂😂
the Tunisian men are handsome
Iam amazed you even learned their language, you have become a multilingual person now...😂
Thank you!!
Well you can say trying to be!!😂
Very funny video and a great one for sure 😊 now if you need to ask for something anywhere in North Africa use the word: aafak or arjouk (please) also aatini (give me) because they don’t understand bidi azbak that is very Lebanese and people are not used to hearing it much other than on middle eastern tv shows. ❤
Thank you so much for your insight!!
Will try to add it to my vocab!!🙏
👍👍👍👍👍

Name of the last restaurant you went to ?
Casa Lico
@21:44 she meant "you want it well cooked?" not "you want it very delicious?" that's why his beef wellington was black 🤣Welcome to our beautiful country ❤🔥
First comment love from India darjeeling❤❤❤
Woow! Thank you so much for your love and support! ♥
🎉🎉🎉🎉
🙌
Do you know Carthage was built by Phoenicians who came from a coastal place in Lebanon? So we share ancestors
This is a myth lol 😂 stop spreading BS
Can't believe that taxi asked you to make it 20 dinars, 10 dinars is already lotss that trip in marsa is like 2 or 3 dinars maximum, tell them to turn on the counter next time you'll pay what the counter shows or else they will charge you too much
😍😍😍😍
🙌❤️
When you take a taxi in Tunisia just tell them to turn on the meter
Always ask for meter its much cheaper dont ask for the price, say meter or in french "conteur"
Great, welcome to Tunisia, but with taxis it is better to use applications to order a taxi, because even an ordinary Tunisian citizen has almost the same problem with taxis on the street,There are those who cheat on prices because they do not have customers, and there are those who do not. This is the problem with taxis parked on the edge of the sidewalk and at airports. Good videos and good vibes 5ayi 😄
Thank you so much!!
It’s a pleasure to be there!!🙌
Unfortunately, it seems like a global problem cus its the same all over the world with taxis!!
Welcom
Happy to be there!!
16:05 *Sidi bou Said
Guys taiba doesn’t mean the same thing in tounsi. It’s not delicious it’s to describe the doneness: well done, medium, medium rare ...
Taiba barcha = mean well done. Taiba chwaya = not too much cooked (aldente for pasta for exemple) enjoy
Delicious : bnina! Bnina barcha ? Ey allekher !
Boy carefull with the expression "kteer tayba" in Tunisia, although it means very nice/tasty in the levantine dialect, tunisians may rather understand it as literally 'very cooked', in another words 'well done'. Poor Harry might get a well done/dry beef wellington. I am just stipulating I didn't get there yet.
