Hi dale I streamed true meanings but I didn’t bother buying it on vinyl, I got the cd for the car but I ended giving it to Steve witty .. I love modern cosmology.. new album out later in the year which I’m looking forward too.. cheers dale 👍

Hi Dale. I know what you mean about Jane Weaver. I really like The Silver Globe but her records since that one impressed initially but haven’t stayed with me. Perhaps I need to revisit them. I really got into Primrose Green when it was first released. I remember it was a VC favourite at the time. I saw him play in a pub in Birmingham in that tour. I enjoyed the gig but almost felt that he was an impressive mimic rather than something original. I’m gonna listen to True Meanings tonight while I do the ironing. Saturday night. My rock n roll life….
That Paul Weller/Dionne Warwick face-off was tough. It's great that you had the Bacharach CD back-up for Dionne. Miller Anderson album cover is really appealing...I'm going to stream that one. Congratulations on making these tough decisions. Now we'll see if you go through with selling them. lol Good luck!
Definitely with you on the OMD and Waterboys, although Fisherman's Blues is a tough act to follow. I've never been wowed by any Steven Wilson or Porcupine Tree, but keep trying now and again. Glad the cull is continuing to go OK Dale.
My Weller collection is kind of spotty but I like everything that I have. I was glad to see The Waterboys make the grade and I think that "How Long Will I Love You?" is one of the most beautiful songs. I'm not familiar with Miller Anderson and Michael Head's work. Cheers.

Hi Dale. Dion Warwick for me is a download the hits I like and forget the rest. I do more of that now, quite a few albums I buy for a hit, now , I’ll download the hit and buy something else. Great job moving out more albums but car boot season is coming quickly to pack up your shelves
Hello Dale, I don't have this Scott Walker. I listen to the Album Years podcast and love it but I struggle with the music from Steven Wilson. I don't know why. And I am a Jane Weaver fan... I don't this album by the Waterboys (I thought I had it because of the similar colors with the 2019 album). I love this band. Take care. Bruno
Only have 3 of the albums you showed Dale - and you're getting rid of 2 of them. I like the Warhorse album - never heard the Miller Anderson though I can imagine that that too would be to my liking. I also really like Primrose Green. I liked the album prior to that, but the one that came next didn't do it for me so I've not continued on with him. I do own and enjoy the first OMD, but that is the only OMD album I've heard in full. Steven Wilson's work is a mixed bag for me. Absolutely love the early PT when they were on the Delerium label, but not liked anything post that. Not a fan of his solo work - that is the albums under his own name - but I do like his work as Bass Communion, and especially the IEM albums. Cheers...Pete

I haven’t heard of many of those bands. I do agree, so much out there , you have to focus and purge at times. There is only so much space.
Trying to focus but still stuff comes through the door - it's a disease at times...
I am delighted that you are keeping OMD and the Waterboys. Some of these I do not know well enough to have an opinion 🙃

That OMD record isn’t their best but I agree it’s a keeper. I remember Riley Walker getting quite a bit of hype but I never investigated him.

Now that's what i cull music. I am not going to dispute your decisions at all even if i disagreed with some. Can i call for VAR to double check them?
Some will get reconsidered no doubt but I wouldn't trust VAR to do it...
