Why I buy HUBLOT Classic Fusion 42? 1 month review

This is my very first luxury watch from Hublot.
In fact, for many Years I have dissed Hublot watches, especially Big Bang series. As I felt that its fugly... but in a recent meetup with one of my friends, got me seeing Hublot in a different light.
My friend was sporting the Hublot Classic Fusion 42mm Sunray Blue with blue alligator leather strap. To my surprise, The watch was thin and incredible light. Flat casebook and it sits very comfortably on my wrist.
After that meetup, I decided to research more into the history of Classic fusion and I realise that it started as a very clean and minimalist watch in the 80s and then re-introduced in 2010. Plus, its not easy to find a watch which can sit comfortably on my wrist as I have a small and bony wrist.
I initially wanted to get the version with metal bracelet as I owned other watches with only stainless steel bracelets. Furthermore, I did not have good experiences with Leather straps as the underside of the leather strap tends to crack easily after a while.
but when I found out the the leather strap is actually a combination of genuine alligator leather and synthetic rubber. Top side is leather, underside is rubber. I decide to give it a go and I fell in love with it instantly!
The Sunburt green dial is very unique. A colour which I do not have in my watch collection.

why so much hate on Hublot? people hating on them don't even own a watch.
if you like a watch buy it and use it as much as you want! at the end no one is buying it for you.
love the brand as much a i love my casios,gshocks,tag,panerai,cartier and my rolex all great watches and every single on of them have a purspose (daily/investment/personal collection/gift etc..

Tbh….. let’s look at the pros and cons of a Hublot.
Pros:
1. material used is quite good and innovative
2. Design (in case you like it)
3. Simple watch that can be serviced easily.
Cons:
1. Very average movement with a rotor that got exchanged.
2. Extremely expensive in retail for what it offers.
Conclusion: the problem of Hublot is not that it is a bad watch…… it’s just a very expensive watch for what it offers. If you can make a very good deal at the grey market…. Why not….

I have a small wrist too and I went for the 42mm. Hublot fusion watches are extremely light weight and its very comfortable to wear for long hours.

I don’t have the manual book.
As for the warranty, it is done via their Hublotistic App.
It is really simple to do actually but… if you can’t get it done, you can always refer back to your SA @ Ion ☺️
People who hate Hublot either can’t afford it or never actually have examined a Hublot in person. They make excellent watches.
