Great idea and job. Just 1 note... I've had a few small gas engines with that style of dipsticks to check the oil level, but after I double-checked with the engine manufacturer, I've been told to disregard the dipstick gauge and use the top of the threads as the "FULL" indicator as the oil being full. What made me call the manufacturer in the first place was issues with small gas generators and lack of engine oil (all under warranty of course). When Amazon gets these engines back in stock, I'm doing this build. Thank you for this great idea; especially the electric start part.

Question I did not see addressed in your video. Is the drive shaft a standard with all pumps? Including the mounting holes, size and location?
@@johnratliff4594 hi. This is a 1 inch shaft; motor and pump. But there are smaller 3/4 inch too. Most 4gpm machines are 1 inch. If you are thinking of using a different motor or pump you just have to compare specs for each product to make sure they are compatible
Is there an inexpensive 2 wheeled frame cart you might be able to recommend for this build?
The only thing I can think of would be to try searching marketplace for a broken parts pressure washer and just use the frame

Hi, There is a way to do this. You can put an external unloader valve that has the option to allow water to keep flowing through the pump. I actually made a video that might shine some light on this upgrade. Hope it helps

I built mine using a predator 420cc, I used it for the first time last night for a gas station job and noticed my oil stick was in place but looked like it had leaked oil. Any idea as to why that happened? Also I’m worried it’ll over heat
Hi, Did you ever figure out where the oil was coming from? A brand new engine shouldn't be leaking any oil! Was the oil cap tight? Or Is it maybe coming from the valve cover? Maybe something just needs to be tightened. Hopefully it's something simple.
I bought everything in the Description through amazon except the engine. Amazon was out so I bought directly from bilthard. The engine was supposed to be here Saturday. Now I'm getting the run around with no answers. You had mentioned a predator engine do you still have a link for that? Thanks
