there are some issues around at the moment i want to tackle in this comment. first of all i want to say thank you for your support through all ups and downs of our association. you are the reason why we exist and we know that.
some might ask themselves what's the issue with terron beckham. i had a very good call with him a couple of days ago. he's a very nice and down to earth person. the problem with his episode is that it never got completed by the production company in the usa. against claims by some naysayers the reason is NOT that the outcome did not fit our expectations. his opponent had been a 'newcomer' as well so even if we would have interests in someone, which is and never was the case, it would not be someone we don't even know. we apologized for his lost efforts (as well as officially to all people involved) but we are really not able to change it nor where we involved.
back to the topic: i suggested to have a battle with him against jujimufu (let those guys know under their videos that you like to see that) and the winner can go against whoever he wants from our cast. YES - you read right! we are open to all kind of battles as long as people are respectful ask for sane circumstances and contact me. nicholas, if you read this: as soon as those points apply to you, you are welcome to contact me. whoever does not know a guy named nicholas this is a small riddle for you.
regarding music in the battles: i had a standpoint and we had to give this a reasonable chance. so guys, music is back, commentary more in the backround and yes, it's more interesting like that. people make mistakes, so do i. once again thanks to those who commented respectful and lead us back to this route.

A 37-year old with an injury going against a 25-year old with no (reported) injuries and the old guy still came back at the end. That's pretty amazing!
I rly like that way how Patrik respected and was clapping for won of Anabolic Horse. He didn't envy his won, true fair play fight.
These guys are both so insanely strong! Hats off to both of them, crazy effort.
Damn the weighted dips really took its toll on Patrik, sadly I don't think strongman do well on that (since it isn't an actual stongman exercise) much less with the injury on his shoulder, still they gave their best. Congrats to both, hope to see a rematch on the near future!

@@dd-rs5vc he isn't natural. He's confirmed he's taken steroids to compete at the same level as other athletes that take steroids.
I'm not anti-patrik btw. I'm vegan, so, if anything, I should be more biased saying that he's natural - but I'm just keeping it real. He said that he levels the playing field as much as possible and steroids was necessary to compete at his level.

Well he's 18cm smaller and 4kg heavier so it makes him having like almost 20kg advantage do you really think that it would be fair ?
Patrik is carrying over 14% more weight per cm (713g/cm vs 624g/cm). How is that an advantage in a bodyweight exercise?!

I think it was a pretty fair battle but the Patrik was never going to do well with weighted dips- he's built to move heavy shit, and not to do callisthenics!

As far as I remember Patrik said in an interview that he does not workout anymore, so basically this is his leftover strength from when he competed in strongman events. It would be an easy fight for him if he was in his prime

Aaaaah, i loved thos battle. It was amazing. Not only that the music and commenting ratio was very pleasing, also the battle itself was exciting. I mean, obviously Patrick was in disadvantage at the dips, so it was really exciting to see if he could make it up in the keg lift. In the end i was still very surprised at the putcome.
till yet romano was the only one who finished this parkour out of like 12 or 14 ppl. now both of them finished and both were even faster then romano. both of these 2 athletes are insane crazy

@@furnjohn well, a whole foods plant based diet is healthier than a standard diet but strongmen's concern isn't necessarily health, it's strength.
I don't know Patrik's diet, so shouldn't comment but it's better to get gains from plant based whole foods than overly processed, transfat foods - although both of these can be vegan.
That's why it's important, when it comes to health and fitness, to look past the label of 'vegan' to describe a diet. Vegan isn't a diet, it's an ideology. 'Vegan' doesn't describe what you DO eat, only what you DON'T. 👍
