"they dont work as one universe they contradict each other" I hear (Or read, I guess) this statement a lot, but people never seem to actually state any contradictions that exist, since most of them have an explanation. There was something called the "Holocron Database" and a man named Leland Chee who's job was to find any contradictions in new books, and make sure the author knew about it and fixes it. "Some of them introducing into Star Wars ideas which are totally stupid or just don't feel right in the galaxy far away." One could argue that having a third giant ball of death, this time the size of a planet is "totally stupid" also. But I will agree with you on the "They should forever stay non canon". Since they got rid of the EU for "Creative Freedom" I want to see them actually come up with new stuff instead of taking it from the Expanded Universe like they have been doing (Son of Han and leia falling to the dark, they brought a cruiser from the KOTOR era into rebels for some reason... come on, use that freedom to actually design some new stuff). And I would like to see them continue the Legends Universe, Canon or Not, because to me, the Legends Universe IS Star Wars.

Amber Shuey It’s good because Thrawn nearly brings down the New Republic with nothing but some cunning tactics. Several hundred Star Destroyers vs thousands upon thousands of New Republic ships and he nearly wins. We also hear about the power vacuum in the Hutt Clan following Jabba’s death and how Luke bringing down the Emperor destroyed a young woman’s life, a woman who would later become his wife. Also, it brings up Leia starting her Jedi training and the Solo twins being born. And Joruus C’Baoth, though not as cool as Thrawn, is a pretty creepy villain.

Not bad, but it's painful to watch the comments on people not wanting to accept the official canon. Don't get me wrong, I will never forgive them for Episode VII, but it's not about liking it, it's about being real, and not being in denial like a kid. would anyone help me and give me a quick overview of the Thrawn trilogy? I've only ever heard that it's good but no one really elaborates why. I've only been hanging out in the Old Republic expanded part of star wars...

Amber Shuey It’s good because Thrawn nearly brings down the New Republic with nothing but some cunning tactics. Several hundred Star Destroyers vs thousands upon thousands of New Republic ships and he nearly wins. We also hear about the power vacuum in the Hutt Clan following Jabba’s death and how Luke bringing down the Emperor destroyed a young woman’s life, a woman who would later become his wife. Also, it brings up Leia starting her Jedi training and the Solo twins being born. And Joruus C’Baoth, though not as cool as Thrawn, is a pretty creepy villain.
Disney can do whatever they want with Star Wars just as long as they away from the EU

Not bad, but it's painful to watch the comments on people not wanting to accept the official canon.
Don't get me wrong, I will never forgive them for Episode VII, but it's not about liking it, it's about being real, and not being in denial like a kid.
