Diggit and Mashed brief clips (1998)

- Very brief glimpses of Diggit and Mashed from 1998, both from the same tape but not necessarily the same day. First of all, there's a promo for Recess, before Fearne and Des wrap up their Tex Avery and Timon and Pumbaa competitions and close proceedings for the day. Then we get a little bit of Lee and H from Steps with Jez and Jarvis - not very much at all, but I thought it was worth sharing.
@danielamofah3091 in the comments suggests a broadcast date of 9th May 1998, but I can't confirm that. If you don't show your working, people, how can anyone double-check?

This was from around probably April/May as both Diggit and Mashed started roughly around the same time. But it was 1998 for sure. :) Thanks again for the upload.

I'm afraid not, and it's _unbelievable_ that shows like that have just fallen off the bottom of the internet. If I come across any, I'll definitely upload them.

@@VideotapeFTW It wouldn't be in any of the recent tapes. It would have been on an older one, most likely thrown away sometime ago or before I was able to save it. So sorry about that.

I loved Diggit but i found Mashed boring..
I'm still waiting for a full episode of Mashed to emerge from somewhere, just so I can re-evaluate it through adult eyes. I know it's reputation for being a bit cheap and thrown together, but I wonder how it stands up today.
Funny how all the children in the Recess promo were British and wearing school uniforms but Recess was an American show which had the characters fighting against school uniforms in their school.
Oh, believe me, British kids fought against school uniform too. Only, we lost.

I mean by the fact that the show was set in America, no uniforms though the adults tried to have them wear uniforms
