The praying mantises that I used to observe when I was younger near where I live are about 4 or 5 inches and have pretty thick armor and very very strong and I have seen them devour these house centipedes like Twinkies... This tree mantis is a very small mantis...

+famousx They're also very docile and pretty much harmless to humans if you're careful with them. They can even be handled. And they don't just eat cockroaches. They eat pretty much anything they can chase down and overpower.

u can already tell that the mantis is gonna lose because the centipedes legs give an unfair advantage to where the mantis cannot get his claws through them. Another advantage that the centipede has is that the mantis is extremely small compared to the larger insect, and in the end, the predictable outcome was correct.

Nicholas Actually, yes. House centipedes can be found in houses. I found one in my kitchen sink once. But despite their creepy look, they're good to have around if you have a bug infestation. It would do best with spider infestations, but I suggest something else if you have a fly problem since house centipedes obviously can't fly xD
