this team is FAST... I hope they can get tougher as the year moves along. The BIG 10 punches you in the face in OCT. and NOV. The Lions better respond in kind. They're very flashy now, let's see what happens in the cold weather.
ok yes the score was out of control but it wasnt flawless, the lions made alot of mistakes. It also gave alot of players a chance to get in there....2 qb's threw to 13 different receivers....9 running backs got to play and 5 of them got touchdowns. its not like Penn State didnt spread the ball around. All the good teams have games like this the first couple of weeks.

Meanwhile Ohio State and Michigan dropped points in the 40s while giving up 21... If I were a rankings analyst I'd have them drop a few points in the rankings... Bc there's no reason why the #4 and #7 team in the country should allow 21 points on literal scrub schools

They had the starters out early in the 3rd. PSU just has a different caliber of athlete than Idaho. The way it was going, State couldve kept the starters in and dropped 100 without blinking.
Tell that to the college football playoff. If PSU let off and didn't rack up points then some other team who runs up the score will get the nod over them in the long run.

Another Chip & Dale State home opener. Idaho is a Division 1-AA school that is not even ranked in the FCS (Old 1-AA division). Frankiln ran the score up hoping to gain in the rankings. This is what I do not like about Franklin.
Penn State will never play a top 10 team in the first 4 four games of the season because they would probably get beat. At least Clemson played Georgia Tech and won 52-14. The Oregon vs Auburn game was number #11 vs #16. Great game and close. Penn State should not be ranked above either.
Penn State has always been given the privilege and advantage of having more home games than away. 7 home games vs 5 away.
My prediction this year is 8-4. They will lose to Ohio state, Michigan, Iowa, and Michigan State. Maryland will be closer than last year.
If Penn State would open with Alabama or Clemson they would get blown out.
In these next few years they play Auburn and Virginia Tech as there out of conference games. And when they scheduled Idaho they were an FBS school

This is why they dropped Alabama back in 2012. They need to get rid of all chip and dale teams and play every game with a legit 1-A team.

@@SkinBoy04 .... Idaho is not even ranked in the top 25 of the FCS 1-AA. James Madison is ranked I believe 3rd in the nation and almost beat WVU. JMU lost to WVU 20-13. Idaho should be a D2 team.

By the way, this game was scheduled in 2015 when they were still apart of the FBS. Since then, they dropped to FCS. Mr. Know-it-all.
