Facebook Rights Manager: Content ID For Facebook?

Facebook has a new feature called "Rights Manager" that is very similar to Content ID on CZcams. It lets content owners upload reference files, then searches the site for people who use that content in videos they upload. This should help with the big freebooting problem on Facebook and allow content owners to control their copyrights more easily.

What if I use CD baby or tunecore? I was doing a livestream singing one of my songs and I got a message from fb asking to change the audio because it was copyrighted. How do I let fb know I am the owner of my songs copyright?

Hi, I'm trying to setup Rights Manager but keep coming back to an issue with "Please ensure a valid contact email is provided." I am admin for the brand with my corporate email and personal email. We use Facebook Business Manager and have 317 retail locations. Any advice on how I can fix this?

Does this protect a video across the entire platform ? Is protection available only to The EXACT right manager page ? The later would seem near useless.

Boy, i don't know if this is good yet. I've been applying for the rights manager for a while, they keep denying me. All of my videos are my own, all the music, etc. My FB page is verified with a blue check with almost half a million followers. People keep freebooting our stuff, to the tune of - 200 MILLION VIEWS - - (and yes, I've been putting in notices with facebook) -- they are quick to send me constant reminders of how I can monetize my videos, but won't let me access rights manager while I get stolen from EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I don't see how this 'Rights Manager' will actually help. Anyone with a simple edit knowledge can still just rip and change the video properties. I don't see the Manager picking up on match. Just like the same issue with CZcams. We still will have to end up doing manual searches with a variety of keywords. Worse is when the fuckers change the title. These systems only protect us from the noobs who do direct rip/upload. And the noobs are dwindling in numbers.... we're still all fucked.
