Man I’m still playing all the 2023 games! 😂 but managed to do FF Rebirth, Tekken 8, and now Shadow of the Erdtree and loved all of them.
The FF8 Soundtrack in the background hit me right in the nostalgia
All great picks!! My top 3 would have to be Persona 3 Reload, Stellar Blade, and Paper Mario with honorable mentions to FF7R2 and Infinite Wealth.

Good stuff, My favorites are SMT V Vengeance, P3R, Paper Mario TTYD, ER Shadow of the Erdtree, and Stellar Blade. Honerable mentions to Killer Klowns and Dragons Dogma 2.

Wow, so even though i have bought and tried quite a lot games of this year i somohow end up finishing only 2 games of 2024 which i guess i would rank as such 1. Rise of the Ronin 2. Outcast new behinning. Nonetheless great video my man, it looks you've been busy this year as the industry is getting bigger it looks like each year from now on is gonna be pretty huge.

Great list. This might be the first time and last time ive ever seen Like a Dragon infinite as #1. I share similar taste in games and completely agree!
To Me infinite wealth is my number one
I feel " weird " because it seem i have to be one of the only ones who prefered Like a Dragon ( Yakuza 7 ) story over Infinite Wealth ? 😅
Like a Dragon ( which is one of my favourite gaming experience of all time along with Yakuza 0 ) had a better balance between serious themes/fun, whereas i found Infinite Wealth to be > many times and the ending was .. okey. I waited for IW for years and i felt dissapointed by the story, but everything else from the mini games, combat, Hawaï is very good and a superb improvement though.

@@michaelmacorso4479 For me Story comes First so i prefer Yakuza Like a Dragon ( Y7 ) but as i said in my previous comment, the Gameplay is far better in this one, although i did enjoy it very much in LAD.
Each player will have his opinion, i personally préfère Yakuza Like a Dragon Story more, it was more impactful, meaningful.

FF7 Rebirth is my favorite GOTY. I’m absolutely HOOKED on Balatro right now, you should give it a try! It’s a card deck-based rogue-like that uses the base mechanics of poker
I enjoyed Persona 3 but nowhere near as much as 4 and 5.
I played backwards from 5 so I may be missing something compared to someone who played in order.
4 and 5 are better. But man that has to be the best ending to a Persona game ever.

I love prince of persia the lost crown so much 100 percent the game n got all the achievements for it. Easily the best ubisoft game since mario rabbits.
A game looking amazing will never be enough for me to enjoy a game all the way through, i need some creative gameplay choices or fun gameplay loops hellblade 2 is just so slow and on rails akdni cannot get thru it
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is easily my favorite game this year so far!!!

I think paper Mario and the thousand year door is the first paper Mario game I would beat.
Super paper Mario on the wii was also an amazing game, I highly recommend you play it if you haven't already

Open world game burnout tbh. I will play it this summer though as it’s not a game I want to miss
To be honest dragon dogma 2 is a 7 out of 10 for me. Story was terrible, performance was awful side content is not good. I really wanted to love the game. Monster hunter rise is so much better

Wow, its almost like games, like most art, is subjective. What you think is good is bad to others, and what others like is underwhelming to you.
Best games so far. More to come in second half of the year.
Also, "Best" in a group doesn't mean perfect. The top 10 in this list come close. But the first 15 are solid or at least honorable mentions.
