Nothing beats Returnal for me, it’s peak. Looks incredibly gorgeous, he Dualsense benefits from it and the gameplay is next level IMO.
Returnal was about to make my all time favorites list back when I played at launch but I only made it to the third Biome and it's one of the hardest games I've ever played. Feels like an unforgiving game.
@@dylankurtz8423 the third biome was definitely a hurdle for me as well. Once I did a bit of experimenting, kept exploring every nook and cranny of the map etc, it just clicked. All I’m gonna say is the rotgland lobber makes short work of Nemesis.

@@dylankurtz8423 Keep going! Returnal is one of those games that gets significantly easier the more you play. You should have access to the Rotgland by now. Level up the explosive trait, avoid enlarged chamber and if you find overload bolts it's a wrap. That gun carried me to my first completion. Stick with it. It's worth it.

Rift apart impressed me into upgrading last year. Ratchet has never felt as fun to control as he has here, imo.

Just finished the game it has good visuals. The voice acting is horrendous and the gameplay is pretty repetitive. 7/10. I’m a Robocop fan btw
I found DeathLoop appallingly insufferable and boring.

My jaw was on the floor with the first boss fight in hellblade 2 it looks amazing
Robocop is why I bought a ps5 and I have no regrets. They got his weight right and I loved how they let you modify the auto 9 so it would be great late in the game

Because Sony HAD to release PS5 during covid. They had no choice but to include PS4 because nobody could get a PS5. I really wish Series X and PS5 came out later.
Mate coming out 'later' would require both systems to be completely scrapped then reworked by investing billions more into research and development in order to create consoles with the 'later' tech built into them, also the box sex does not matter if it came out later or not due to being held back by the forced console parity clause
I believe MK1 isn’t on the PS4, but yes it is on the Switch. Animal Well is another game that does that (Switch and PS5, but not PS4).
If you like indie horror, Crow Country, The Medium and Immortality are some interesting PS5/Series only games.
So funny enough I had The Medium on this list originally, but bumped it off for Hellblade 2 after it released. As for Crow Country, I reviewed it a bit ago! Was a great time! Immortality is a new one to me though!
Returnal is so fucking phenomenal ! Got it on PC when it came out. It gets easier as you unlock more stuff. And the dualsense 5 haptics etc are sick.
Hi Fi Rush could absolutely run on last gen. Can run it at 60fps on my Steam Deck.

You should try playing this game called steel rising if u haven’t already, it’s a really unique souls like game and I’ve been playing it for about week or two now and I was really surprised by how good it was unfortunately I haven’t seen a lot of people play it

I love returnal but the only gripe i got is the brown vines, they are 2d whereas the rest of the game has 3d plantation. I dont understand why they didn't make the brown vines 3d?
I played Senuas Saga on my Laptop via gamepass. The ending was pretty underwhelming. But the game was really immersive, and it looks amazing

I think Baldur's Gate 3 actually does take full advantage of the Next Gen systems but only in Split-Screen. Take for example the fact that it only works on Series X not S. No way could an Xbox One VCR ever pull off that either.

Wow i have only finished deathloop from all those games. It sure is not a masterpiece, but i absolutely loved it! Even the story is good and really i felt the stealth was fine also, i was using it a lot for the most part. Pretty unique also, i dont think there is another game that is exactly like deathloop in every way and i was really hooked with the overall idea and concept of it. And Colt its a great protagonist in my opinion.

I've had a series x since 2020 and a ps5 since 2021 and deathloop is the only current gen only game i've played. Lol (not counting switch)..... Alan wake 2 is on my shortlist tho
Oh and I played a large portion of ghostwire. I liked that game. It wasn't groundbreaking in any way, but it was fun

Demons Souls Remake, Returnal, FF16, Rebirth, Astro Bot, Stellar Blade and Alan Wake 2 are all worth it to me

Demon Souls is now a fifteen year old game, Returnal is good, Alan Wake 2 was a joke, and Stellar Blade is overhyped when listed against Nier or DMC. Games like Elden Ring or SF6 still work on older platforms. There was a time when this notion was out of the question. What's an exclusive when I just play it on steam anyway.

Mk1 is not on the ps4 at all and the switch version is nothing like the consoles version and the switch does count as new gen bec what else can nintendo do but good video overall 👍🏿

you could make an argument for including the next (aka, current)-gen exclusive DLCs for Horizon: Forbidden West and Cyberpunk
both games' base content run on last gen, but the experience is significantly better (and more complete, with the DLC) on current gen
Graphics wise, 2024, there is Hellblade 2, then there is the rest.

Claiming that Grand Theft Auto VI is the sole reason to 'upgrade' is beyond idiotic since everyone has their own personal preference to do so, be it better graphics, faster load times, controller features, backwards compatibility and the like

FF16 is a bad game. The combat is awful. I’m starting to struggle how people think games like this and TOTK are good. In my opinion a good game is a 7/10 and above. 6/10 is above average and 5/10 being average. In my opinion an average game is disgraceful to publish. We have such finite time and to make a game that isn’t at least good. Shame. And I’m putting FF16 as a 4/10. Horrible story. Horrible combat, and the motion blur is enough to make a war veteran relieve his days of eating rotten rations. Oh and by the way I have beaten all the Final fantasy games and this is by FAR the worst. Also red dead redemption 2 is a 10/10, GOD of war ps4 release a 9/10. Spiderman ps4 8/10. Stellar blade 7/10. This should give a good indication of the REAL GAME REVIEW SYSTEM, unlike IGN and all these other reviewers claiming 10s across the board. RDR2 is above all. So FF16 in comparison. Good lord is it trash. Do not play this game, I beg of you, I’m saying this out of pure compassion of your time. Please go play fallout new Vegas or something. I AM TIRED OF THESE GAME REVIEWERS ACTING LIKE THESE GAMES ARE EVEN A 5/10.
I repeat do not play FF16. I am saying this solely to help. It is more harm than good suggesting these games, so why do these you tubers do it. But then again like all answers. We all know why. Everyone has their opinions, one person's trash is a another person's treasure, I played red dead redemption 2 and I enjoyed the game, but for me there are other games too, that I enjoyed even more, like Witcher 3, Elden Ring and both Last of us games, and some of the older games like Mass effect trilogy, dragon age origins and final fantasy X, I wasn't a big fan of the modern Zelda games either, I prefer the older ones like ocarina of time and majora's mask, also wasn't a big fan of bloodborne, but love Sekiro, but for the games I didn't enjoy, I don't go saying oh they are trash or bad out of respect for the people that did enjoy them, people have different tastes and saying how someone can like something that you don't like, makes you look like self entitled, as I said to people before it doesn't matter what you have, you can live in Crystal palace with gold flowing down its fountains, it means nothing if you act like self entitled full of yourself individual
I too am tired off many things, especially off individuals who try to exploit others for their personal gain, tired off people thinking nothing but money and trying to say it's not all about the money

@@sheercold26I guess you like games where it’s all boring cutscenes with a bad story 😂. The only kinda good thing about the game was the combat but even that wasn’t enough to save it. The first half is actually decent I won’t lie. The length of the cutscenes are still iffy but the story falls apart in the 2nd half. Couldn’t even finish it
