My guilty pleasure is Barnyard for the PS2. To this day I still don't know how so much creativity was put into that game.
No need for guilt, that game is a masterpiece
Unironically a pretty good game. Especially for a movie tie-in.
for me all those lego games are a guilty pleasure, they're all basically the same, very much trapped in the template they built in that first star wars game but there's something very satisfying in getting all the different abilities and clearing out all the secrets, getting the "cheats" to earn enough money to unlock all the characters, no stress at all, just get all the lego bricks, what can i say, i love bricks, bricks bricks bricks
My guilty pleasure is probably The Callisto Protocol. I loved it more than like every outlet and person I know lol
REALLY enjoyed your video...looking forward to your content
Great video man I love shadow the hedgehogs too I play it as a kid too
Bricks, some choices I never thought I would see as guilty pleasures, but to each their own. I enjoyed the video.
Brilliant video. Enjoyed it from start to finish. I've seen/heard of/played or own quite a few of them. Even have 100% Steam cheevs on more than one Neptunia game lol. (my own personal favourite of those is Megadimension VII. But of the Rebirth trilogy definitely the 3rd one.)
I don`t think that Painkiller is Guilty Pleasure Game. In Eastern Europe this game is cold classic.
Was literally quoting "Let'z do it" as you brought it up. 😅 Brick
Resident Evil Survivor is one of mine.
Deadly Premonition too obviously.
I like a lot of old movie tie ins. Especially the super hero ones on ps2.
Can you do a ranking video for all the main series Pokémon from the OG games till the 3ds games?
Have you played the ape escape games ?
I would like to see you ranking them, nice video by the way
Shadow the hedgehog is definitely one of those games you remember playing but can't believe exists. I love when creators go full idgaf mode and make the most batshit insane possibly non canon stories in games just for the hell lf it because they KNOW that deep down its all in good fun fanservice that ultimately doesn't hurt the series especially ones as big as sonic and sega. Makes me wish more franchises would do this because all that does is make me love certain characters 10x more than i already did and while im no fan of fortnite, a lot of that game's appeal is to play around as your favorite characters doing the most non canon things imaginable. Getting off from a stressful day of school or work makes these kinds of projects that much more fun to engage in
The Darkness is my guilty pleasure. Don't really know why, but it impressed me back in the day and all the powers you gain are just fun.
How is Twinsanity a guilty pleasure? It’s the greatest game ever made
best crash for sure
Wrong lol not best game ever and not best crash
@@nightefx7618 i prefer the sandbox structure. from the og triology i just like 1 and in 4 the levels are to long
Literally…. That game did something to my brain as a 7 year old that I could not come back from till this day. Finish it once a year.
@@zicohesham9201 lol how does that came to be. do you play on ps2?
I played my first video game in either 1974 or 1975 (whenever Sheffield ice rink got that Pong machine basically. The exact details are foggy these days.)
But I'll say that if I had to name the 2 driving games that I've put the most hours into over the years, it would probably end up being either Pitstop 2 on the Commodore 64. Or Carmageddon 2 on the original PC release of the game.
You mentioned Max Damage as one of your list. And I've put the hours into that also since it's release as Reincarnation then rerelease as MD. But my nostalgic mind will always wander back to those Carmageddon 2 days. That game was just bonkers. And to be absolutely honest, Max Damage is actually more fun to play for sure. But I have MANY MANY more games these days. So it will never see the hours that Carma 2 had.
There's only one word to describe Carmageddon Max Damage.. "ALL THE WRECKED 'EMS!"
Mercenaries 2 for me, has loads of bugs, and wasnt received that well but love that game.
BRICKS! Also, after some hard thinking I chose one guilty pleasure that tops them all. At first I had Disney’s Haunted Mansion for the PS2, and Murdered Soul Suspect. Both games I feel like people say aren’t that good. But I moreso think they’re underrated rather than a guilty pleasure. My guilty pleasure game?
Driv3r… yeah. Driver 3. See I grew up on Driver 2 which was actually widely regarded as a great game. Both 1 & 2. But when 3 came out it was loaded with issues as well as the fact that 3 was competing heavily with GTA at the time and obviously look which series won. I know it’s a bad game but still, even with it’s severe issues, I enjoy playing Driver 3 from time to time. The setting and just driving around activating cheats with infinite ammo and shit. It’s just a fun time and like you said, sometimes fun is all you need!
One of the guilty pleasure games that came out in recent years for me is Wanted Dead. Not amazing but it was pretty fun to me.
Painkiller? What? That's a legit good game.
x2!
I got an Xbox 360 last year and I plan on trying out South Park: Tenorman's Revenge this month now that I'm finally able to access the Xbox 360 store after buying a Wifi adapter last month. Tenorman's Revenge reminds me of the New Super Mario Bros games. South Park: Snow Day was great. I never understood the hate for it. I remember my uncle used to have an Xbox 360 and he had Let's Go Tower Defense Play. We played it together and I thought it was alright. I played South Park Rally in 2015 and I didn't like it. Tbh, I would love to see a new South Park kart racer done better with Matt & Trey having more creative control this time. There's so many characters that they introduced over the years that the roster could really be stacked. Plus, I can see them coming up with some crazy ass vehicle ideas.
Bricks.
Fav guilty pleasure game is Massive Chalice. There are much better tactics games out there, but the humor and gameplay/enemy variety just feels right.
6:21 *gasp* How dare you, Sir?
I played Deadly Premonition for the first time on Switch and really enjoyed the 4 or 5 hours I put into it. It was weird but it wasn't off-putting weird. Another game that I played that was kinda like it was D4 Dark Dreams Don't Die on Xbox One.
My guilty pleasure is Journey. Not the incredible indie darling, but the arcade game surrounding the rock band. The game is a series of six mini-games where you are one of the band members, with an oversized head, trying recover their respective instruments and then play as a security guard trying to keep fans off the stage, all while MIDI versions of different Journey tracks play. The mini-games range from okay to hair pulling frustrating.
Lol man, I actually did enjoy my time with resident evil 6. I knew it wasn't a good RE game but its some damn fun action. Outcast NB, I loved the traversal and "platforming" sections, but man the combat was so so basic and I kidd you not it might have crushed on me 15 times on PS5.
Wow, mad respect to your picks dude! Especially since you've actually mentioned two all-time favorites of mine. Painkiller and Carmageddon: max damage.
As for this guy who's stuck wearing his nostalgia goggles on some shite games:
Mortal Kombat vs DC universe
PlayStation all-stars battle Royale
DMC: Devil may cry (reboot)
Gauntlet: seven sorrows
Rayman raving rabbids 2
Red faction II
🎮😅👍
Nice BRICKS
Deadly premonition needs a full new age remaster
Bricks! Also there are a lot people that hate musou games? That’s news to me as I thought everybody just kinda accepted that they were just fun “comfort food” games to waste countless hours on.
re6 is a crazy resident evil game but its just mindless fun
Mine would be viva pinata trouble in paradise… a guy playing a game all about tending to a garden? Regardless of stereotypes starting from worms and snakes to lions and gorillas and even a dragon if you grind it hard enough is fulfilling and surprisingly addictive!
I know exactly what your talking about.

well thanks was going to add them after work!
Agree with so many of these, assume we are around same age 30ish by the list?
Alot of mine would be 360 era, Unreal Tournament 3 comes to mind playing agaisnt bots.
Bricks
Crash Twinsanity is one of my favorite games of all time. Me and my dad quote it all the time
I really liked Twinsanity as a kid. I didn't notice the flaws as a youngling.
Same here man i got games i luv yet know its mid at best.Shadow of the damned, the ps3/x360 version of splatterhouse, dark sector.YO I NEVER KNEW ROAD RAGE WAS DIFFERENT THAN HIT AND RUN SHIT NOW I GOT TO GET THE ROM AND TRY IT
Good video.
Bricks.
Ok so I got 3 guilty pleasures. 1. In GTA 4 I didn’t want to progress the story so I just played it by blowing up, crashing cars and figuring out clever ways for me to die.(probably pretty common in GTA games lol)
2. In Fable 2 where you both “romance” npcs and also there was like a beer brewing game I think 🤔 I think one night I did those two activities for like over 9 hours.
3. There was a mobile game back in the day called Alchemy I think and I learned the fun but scarily addictive nature of mobile games. I played it a ton but one day I skipped work, woke up at 11 and played it non stop, with several bathroom breaks for 12 hours! I didn’t eat the whole day and was like “whoa, that was dumb!”
Those are my 3. 🙂👍
Also if you want to one of the FUNNIEST play through you gotta watch Game Grumps play through of Harvester it’s amazing!! 😂
Bricks
Totally got a soft spot for « Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts » on 360 😂
This game single handedly killed one of the best adventure game franchise forever but I still love it for what it is.
Also: Yoda Stories, omg I spent hours upon hours playing this game, it’s literally a randomly generated puzzle/adventure game with literally only a couple combinations possible (so you know it all after a couple hours already). Anyway it’s not a good game but it’s so good though 😅
I think Harvester has a Grimbeard review
Mine is definitely dmc 2013 it gets shit for being different and I don’t like some of the changes either but that’s a fun ass game regardless
Postal 2, Duke nukem forever, and Saints row 2 for me.
Danger Zone and Senran Kagura.😅 Almost forgot Earth Defense Force.
I just came to a realisation that Shadow the Hedgehog is the only sonic game I've finished
You poor soul.
Musou games are goated. Complete fun power fantasy
Mine are Tinykins, Hades, Oija. Anything by Devolver
Add timestamp 00:00 Introduction, timestamps are not working properly, if you add this it will work fine
I think a really interesting list would be your top 10-20 least favorite games of all time. Not which ones you think are objectively the worst, but which ones you personally dislike the most
22:40 I almost thought my personality was splitting in real time when I heard the double voice overs and saw persona footage while he was discussing Dynasty warriors😅 TTJ really burning the midnight oil to bring us these videos. poor guy. the fans appreciate you 🥲 B R I C K S 👁👄👁
I even watch them over too. my bad!
I do really enjoy The Simpson road rage
Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex
And I kind of like Tekken 6
Those are guilty pleasures for me
This list is crazy
Sonic R, Sonic The Fighters, Shadow The Hedgehog
How dare you! Deadly Premonition is a masterpiece!!!
RE6 for sure!
BRICKS!
BRICKS BRICKS BRICKS I hate the secret codeword cuz that means the video about to end :'(
For me it's Call of Duty on the Wii, don't judge me lol
You should rank the hitman games.
If you like the Neptunia games, you should genuinely give the Mary Skelter and Death end re;Quest series a try. They have a higher production value than Neptunia, and in the case of MS, it is absolute peak despite the difficulty of the first game.
I actually really liked High on Life. It was funny, I thought the shooting a kid in a game joke was funny. The parts with Psychicpebbles made me figuratively shit bricks.
Duke Nukem Forever. Panned and considered a really bad game but damn I enjoy it. For me it's duke Nukem. The jokes are a throwback and maybe not what people would accept nowadays but hey that was duke. Hail To The King
I always believed Duke Nukem Forever, when viewed as a game from the era it started development in is gold. The problem is it took a decade+ to be developed and everyone was expecting it to modernize.
I dont know if it can be concidered a guilty pleasure since its not regarded awful from everyone but i would say starfield. I put 200 hours in it and sometimes i was having the time of my life. Oh and maybe wolfstein Wolfenstein YB, damn even Redfall. Deathloop is one my favuorite games ever but people do like it i think.
1:53 Every Sonic game could be a guilty pleasure
shadow 05 is actually a pretty good game, it's just so weird and its own thing that many people don't really... get it.
No. It's not an good game at all. It may not be the worst Sonic game. But I wouldn't say it's good either. It's just dull, repetitive, frustrating & boring. But it is hilariously entertaining to see how stupid it is.
@@jaretco6423 idk dude I think it’s a really good game. I love it for what it is. It’s not a conventional game by any means but you can have fun with it.
@MrNintendoblock I mean. If you say so, than more power to you. But the fact of the matter is that it is not an good game at all. In fact, it's one of the worst. It ain't the worst. But it's in the top 3 worst 3D Sonic games. Along with 06 & Forces. This game was responsible that 3D Sonic games gotten at there worst. We were lucky with games like Colors & Generations that were good. But than Lost World messes it up and we've gone back to mediocrity after mediocrity.
@@jaretco6423 what is the fact? there are no "facts" it's just your opinion
@MrNintendoblock Not to sound like an jerk here. But it ain't my opinion. It basically is an fact. Whether you except it or not.
what ???????? bro you ok sure about that ? Carmageddon 2 is amazing....
Mine is res 6
I'll always stand by re6
Duke nukem forever. And star fox adventures are probably my biggest guilty pleasure games
Star fox adventures isn’t a guilty pleasure imo…. It’s just straight up misunderstood lol 😂
Crash Twinsanity shouldn't be a "guilty pleasure", it is my favourite Crash Bandicoot game and I genuinely think it is an awsome game. Yes it is short and has a ton of glitches and problems, but every time I replay it I find myself enjoying it more and more. The levels are great and inspired, the best part is founding the gems in every level : it makes for great exploration : I honestly never got bored with this game. Something I also love with this game is that the levels are all part of a great, coherent world, unlike in Crash Bandicoot 2 & 3 where you just warp to the level you want, so that is a big plus. The music, even if it'not everyone's taste does have some great tunes. The story is easily the best in the series : majority of the time, it doesn't take itself seriously and there are some actually very funny scenes in this game where I suddenly found myself laughing at how ridiculous the situation is. However, there are still some serious moments and, honestly they are great and handeled well. Finally, a"guilty pleasure" is supposed to be a game you like but are ashamed to admit it, so that is why Crash Twinsanity isn't a guilty pleasure : because I love it, because it is a great game, because it is my favourite game in the series and I am PROUD to say it. Anyway, keep up with the great videos!
The game play of Neptunia beats the crap out of Persona 5. Real talk. That naval gazing highschool simulator VN deserves the reputation of Neptunia. The only reason Neptunia isn't celebrated as a fantastic modern turn based RPG is because it's camp. Also RE6 is a fun as hell action game, and the Warriors franchise is pure gold, again critics have this bizarre allergy to a game just existing to be fun and not being some fart-sniffing auteur bait wishing it was a Hollywood movie.
BRICKS
Mine is definitely WWE games! 😅
Did anyone play hogs of war on ps1 😂😂
Bricks
Zelda II sucks a** but it's so hard and stupidly funny that I'd say it's a guilty pleasure. I guess some people call it good though😂
Final Fantasy II is an absolute favorite of mine. I'd say it's more polarizing than a guilty pleasure, but yeah, it's fun haha.
Phantasy Star III is so stupid and objectively bad, but at the same time, I just enjoyed it. Like the whole time I kept playing for some reason, acknowledging how trash it was but it was funny.
Depending on who you ask, I guess I would also say FF8, 13, and 15 are guilty pleasures of mine, as they are all in my top 5 of the series, where they are usually near the bottom of people's lists.
My last is Lost Sphear, a Tokyo RPG Factory game. I look back on it wondering why I love it and I compare it to other RPGs wondering why the heck I hold it in such high esteem and like it better than hits like FF7 and FF9 but, what the heck, the stupid moon people plot with freaking robots and missing towns and stuff 😂 it's so odd that I love it!
11:00 bros covering for his gf
goddammit. again i get suckered into watching a video made by a 3d sonic apologist.
Bricks
Duke Nukem Forever.
Lezduit
i believe Resident Evil 6is just reagular good! not a guilty pleasure.
maybe before RE7 and thinking it killed the franchise hating it was understandable.
but now that RE recovered and moved on. judging RE6 on its own merits, it is a silly dumb over the top action game, with legit some of the best 3rd person shooter combat i have ever played.
i alwasy say RE6 is more for people who liked games like Bulletstorm or Vanquish more than Resident Evil fans.
Video game we want it or not is guilty pleasure sorry mate..
I reject the concept of a "guilty pleasure". Life is short. Take pleasure where you can find it, WITHIN the boundries of the law. Screw "guilty pleasures", just go with "legal VS illegal pleasures". The only videogame you shoud feel guilty about enjoying is The Guy Game, considering it contains an underaged girl flashing her boobs, making it illegal to own, making you in posession of child pornography by the legal definition, which makes you ... guilty. Otherwise feel no guilt in what you enjoy, just enjoy it.
Clash Royale 😂
I played deadly premonition a long time ago. That whole game is doodoo. But i really had to get to the bottom of those murders.
RE6 is fun to play but it's one of the worst in the franchise imo
I actually worked on a lot of these games. You can find my name in the credits.
RE operation Raccoon city for me.
It’s the only RE game that puts you on classic city zombie apocalypse combat.
RE4 is beloved in part because it nailed the hoards fighting in the village.
And in Re2/3 (OG + Remakes) your path is like a red carpet. By entering laps and buildings instead of fighting in the zombie-infested streets.
Finally, because the movement is more open. Fighting Mr-X and Nemesis with a better controlled character lets the imagination flow on how Athletic Leon and Jill had to be when fighting instead of the strict movement of the original games.
Also BRICKS 🧱
Kingdom hearts series even those some of the games are crap, birth by sleep ughhhhhhh.
What's all the kingdom hearts hype all about?
