Yeah resonator and angle the exhaust out the back a little more straight out if you start cutting and welding
Man I love having spoon on the channel mainly for all the sick ass Honda builds he has going on in his shop!
Here's my thoughts, you know for the algorithm; 1) get Spoon the hookup on some lighting for his shop. Guy is awesome at what he does, and love seeing the Spoon visits. 2) add a resonator. The longest one they have that can fit. While you're in there, use the opportunity to straighten out the rear can, and 3) trim the tip so it doesn't protrude so much once it's set and not so angled. I'm not a huge fan of the blue on the tip, so that's part of my though there, but maybe I'm alone on that. I wouldn't want the exhaust to stick out beyond the natural lines of the bumper/body. Make it custom and clean and quiet(er).

Don't get it twisted, Jimmy don't give a crap about anyone's opinion or he'd run polls to find out what the people actually want, the only reason they all say "comment down below with blah blah" is because it earns them more money as it's an "interaction", so whilst you might think he cares, trust me he doesn't.

The 700hp e36 should become the drift car to take serious, they have good grip and its a good chasis with alot of potential. And already cut quater panels so it just makes sense
Not to mention how plentiful parts are compared to parts for the coupe
As good as it would be I think it's too rare for him to want to turn in into a full blown drift car given the fact it's rhd and from Japan & he wouldn't be willing to potentially have the chance of crashing it. He'd be better off buying another E36 to do it to.

So basically you want the coupe to be like adams cream s13. Retire it on a high note and preserve it while thrashing the next build and taking it to the next level.
Also, consider swapping the catback hardware for stainless. Probably not a big deal realistically, but zinc and stainless or titanium aren't compatible in terms of galvanic corrosion (sorry I can't help commenting, part of my job so I can't ignore it lol)

Bang a resonator in there and it'll sound perfect. Lower it and it won't look as goofy either even with the stock kit imo. Expreme systems have always been my favourite, definitely the best Evo system too

The exhaust “Jap tilt” is a thing in Japan and in other places that have jdm cars, people go out of their way to angle it to the side and up, Surprised this is the first time your seeing it
this isn't jimmy's first time building something "JDM" he has been doing this for years, of course he knows that.. That is way too much tilt, the exhaust should not be facing the side of the bumper. If he had an aero kit on the car, the exhaust wouldn't even fit the exhaust cut out. There's a difference between a "tilt" for style and something just not aligning correctly.

If you were going to build your ideal competition car, what platform would you go with? For cost/reliability/power, I'm assuming a cammed/turbo LS?
Honestly I really think it's time for a max power LS build. Also the potential to see you build an American car would be amazing, since we've never really seen you do it.
PS. You should really consider a Nissan D21 drift build. I think you'd have a blast doing it, it would be a refreshing change of pace and their engine swaps are immediately within your wheelhouse.

LS e36 comp car, lz can help suspension angle and lock wise, bootleg can hook you up tuning wise👌🏻
IMO, Build a dedicated comp car, use a chassis you won’t feel as bad if it gets wrecked and isn’t as hard to find parts for that have such a drift tax. I get the s chassis has a TON of support but the prices are getting out of hand

That battery is the same battery I had in my 1994 supra I brought from Japan to New Zealand. Battery lasted 8 years and still goes but probably changed out by new owner as it was ancient
