This little young man had perfect timing with his jokes 😆
It helped to have Johnny Carson, who was the best set-up man ever, asking him the right questions at the right time.
@Wellington Gursburms Dobalina didn't Johnny say when Emmanuel first came out that they had not met until that very moment? Not sure how it could be rehearsed if that's the case.
I like it wen he was asked abt japan n he said most of the people are short like him 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😄
And his expression, too
He's so calm, like a little old man. Too cute, and smart.
Hello
very smart!!
He was 12 guys. It’s just the size
12 doesn’t mean you can’t be cute. Dude was ADORABLE.
@@RockinDaBoombox that’s not my point. Ppl are going to naturally give him too much credit for being smart at 12 due to how small he is.
To see him crack up like a 12 yr old at a poop joke was priceless 🤣

I can see how Emmanuel had so many gigs considering his childlike appearance despite being older than he looks. Means he can verbalize and take direction and play the part of younger children with ease and keep the cuteness factor. Good way to leverage his uniqueness.
Hello Kim, how are you doing today ?
Doesn't matter if his guest was 12 years old or 72 years old, Johnny had a way of connecting with nearly every guest he ever had
He was a good listener and was interested in what they had to say. A lost art.
When our children were not yet twelve years old, there were several times when people commented to my wife or me, "You treat them as if they were little people!"
My wife's usual response was, "Of course. That's because they ARE little people."
@Ag21 Can you tell us, please, from which translation are you quoting?
@@danielminutilli5372 Nope - I can do that, just like millions others.. Art my ace - it's just being decent.
@@rogermetzger7335 Bet they worked out fine, your kids.. I - probably from not experiencing that as a kid myself - always treat kids as grown ups with less words in their heads yet.. Once I was "looking after" an infant, while working on my bike, while his mom was gone for while. I spoke o him about the economic situation, I just had heard about on the news.. He sure looked interested, and didn't cry once.
No one can ever replace Johnny Carson on talk show television. He was the best.

Stephen Colbert does great monologues, and he's so funny, never thought anyone could be as good as Johnny, but times change, the talk shows are so different now,but good.

@@BuenasNoticiasdeIL lol
@@BuenasNoticiasdeIL he's definitely 12 here. Emmanuel Lewis was born in 1971 and this was filmed in 1983. He was unusually short for his age but has no known condition to explain his height. As for his teeth, maybe he was one of those rare exceptions of kids that lost their baby teeth late? Or perhaps he just had bad teeth and lost them to disease, thus needing dentures early? I've met people who had lost all of their permanent teeth by their 20s and so needed dentures at a young age.
