    I don’t see how you could make the filling between each layer the same height using this technique. Am I missing something?

    • @Maffylicious1
      @Maffylicious1  Před 4 lety

      Yes, you can. Filling each layers is not any different from other methods. As you can see in this video, the filling was mostly piped in with a piping bag just like other methods which helps with even filling. And if you’re still not certain, then use a small offset spatula to spread it out or ice scream scoop for good measure, then spread. Thank you.

      Hello, I’m sorry if I was to fast for you, you can turn on the caption instead to read the words on the screen if that helps.
      And for the question, I don’t understand which covering you’re referring to? Are you asking about the frosting on the cake? If yes, then, it’s a basic vanilla buttercream frosting I used to cover the cake.

    • @Maffylicious1
      @Maffylicious1  Před 3 lety

      Hello. It’s alright, you don’t have to do it this way, there are other techniques to stack a cake and this is only one of many ways to do it. 😊

  • @missedtheeggmcintyre417

    She didn't put douls in

    • @Maffylicious1
      @Maffylicious1  Před 3 lety

      Yes, because it wasn’t necessary for this height/size of cake. I would put dowels in if it was taller or if I had a very soft filling in the cake like cream cheese or jam.
