Sorry for missing this message! Good question, here's my advice: If you're tight for time, run through the 400Qs guide only covering the basics of each section. For a more detailed understanding of how an investment bank works, also look at the Andrew Gutman book. Even more important, when you do the job simulator this year, record as much information as you can to help familiarise yourself with the process ahead of next year because it is unlikely to change that much and for Barclays, after the job simulator, it's straight to the AC.

Great question Aakash. A MiM degree definitely opens doors but remember it's not so much about the degree but more about jumping over each application hurdle. In terms of the 20% of effort that leads to 80% of results, what degree you have is a very minor factor.
