Where do you get bank specific deal data ?
Deals are usually on the advisory firm’s / bank’s websites in the form of deal tombstones and shortened versions of press releases. Each deal will have an original press release published on the web. In that press release, data about the deal will sometimes be mentioned. If not, maybe look at another deal or focus on the more qualitative aspects of the deal rationale.

Unfortunately I didn't apply to Jefferies as they opened much later last year so I'm not 100% certain. But according to some sources online, it seems like you can expect a fairly doable verbal and numerical reasoning test like the ones provided by SHL. Sorry for missing this message! Good question, here's my advice: If you're tight for time, run through the 400Qs guide only covering the basics of each section. For a more detailed understanding of how an investment bank works, also look at the Andrew Gutman book. Even more important, when you do the job simulator this year, record as much information as you can to help familiarise yourself with the process ahead of next year because it is unlikely to change that much and for Barclays, after the job simulator, it's straight to the AC.

Great question Aakash. A MiM degree definitely opens doors but remember it's not so much about the degree but more about jumping over each application hurdle. In terms of the 20% of effort that leads to 80% of results, what degree you have is a very minor factor.
What percentage of students get knocked out in the online stage?
Hi Elamin that's a very good question and it is something I have spent a fair amount of time trying to research. Perhaps there are a few sites out there that report such figures but this is something that would be incredibly difficult to estimate. However, I would say the number is an overwhelming majority e.g. above 70% of candidates that get knocked out at this stage. For Morgan Stanley and Nomura, it's probably above 90% of candidates that get knocked out, while some other firms are less obsessed about wiping everyone out so early on.
