[57] Abus GDS ft. Xmas Tree Drivers - Lock Picked

This version of an Abus GDS is a 6 pin lock featuring Xmas tree and tapered drivers (similar drivers to Assa 700), but with no milling in the plug to interact with the gin section of the Xmas tree drivers.
There is another version of ABUS GDS that contains barrel drivers.

Yes, much easier. I’m not sure there is an Assa 700 copy of equal or harder difficulty yet. The DC500 (brown belt) has same keyway, same pins, but the milling is very different and doesn’t interact with gin (bottom) section of Xmas tree drivers.
GDS borrowed the Xmas trees and tapered drivers, but lacking matched plug milling and torpedo Keypins. Keyway is different too. Falls several steps below Assa 700 difficulty. Likely in range of Green’ish belt.

@L0ckJocKey From what I see I think that's usually the case when others start to borrow the design. I dunno myself though lol still a ways off from those! I'd say I'm a beginner green belt so far. Should be a comfortable green belt when I get a few more and practice a bit. I'm not in much of a hurry to exceed that for the moment though.

If you are in the green zone, I’d certainly say it’s within your abilities. Not a high tolerance lock and the pins speak pretty clearly.
Everest is a fun one to try at green too!
