1997 Dodge Dakota 3.9 V6 Putting Together Engine Intake Manifold / Plenum Plate / Throttle body 4K

We cleaned up our engine intake manifold off of our 1997 Dodge Dakota Truck 3.9 V6. Now we are installing new gaskets on the Plenum Plate, Throttle body and thermostat housing. We put on the sensors with thread tape. The engine not only overheated but this intake manifold and Plenum are prone to vacuum leak. This is our install and repair progress video on my son's truck.

Very good video many people don't know how important this is oil get in there too and think piston ring are gone is a very good motor as long it does not get hot 180° thermostat is best option thank you

I watched and it helped a lot I have a 2000 dodge dakota and the manifold is very similar this helped alot.

I replaced my plenum gasket years ago and reused the original plate. Unfortunately it blew out again within a few years. I've since replaced it with the Hughes plate and its been good for at least 6 years so far. Hopefully yours holds up

Cleaned it, Sanded it ,degreased it (and painted it….lol)
