Why I switched to the Canon EOS R50 from the M50

  • This video details why I made the move from the Canon EOS M50 Mark II to the Canon EOS R50 digital camera. I have shot over 50,000 pictures and countless hours of video with the M50, but was looking for some specific benefits that the R50 offered. Namely that it will help me and a lot of film makers & vloggers utilize the R50's ability to focus on both subjects near and far away in quick succession. Tough to find in a camera of this price point $799 at time of release with the kit lens. The Canon EOS R50 has already proven to be popular for video production for CZcams creators.

I think if people feel they need more video features then I get it . Or maybe better low light features. But I think you can get really wide lenses on with adapters and I have the 18-150 kit Lense as one of my lenses and the that lense has always been super sharp.
Although I know people like the camera for vlogging. I wonder why people don’t buy camcorders for vlogging. I wonder what a decent used camcorder goes for

Hey! So I hate to be that guy, but there are some pretty big inaccuracies in this video. 1. the canon made EF-RF adapter not only allows auto focus for EF lenses, but in some cases they work better than they did on EF cameras. Use third party adapters at your own risk. the canon made adapter is $100. 2. Sigma made lenses for the EF-m mount
