Athena, you haven't watched enough A.N.T. Farm. That show was basically Always Sunny for children. There's straight up an episode where a teacher attempts suicide on-screen. (It's in the first scene of "The ReplacemANT", which is available in it's entirety for free on CZcams, just in case you don't believe me).

Scary godmother is a film with pretty outdated cgi graphics but thats part of the charm of why we love it

I remember growing up and seeing Scary Godmother every October and I was only able to watch it one day of the whole year and I thought I was insane and imagining things since my siblings never watched it 😂😂

You gotta have smores in your life. It's kind of a summer/fall thing, just depends. Make sure to actually fire-roast the marshmallow, microwaving it IS blasphemy. You can also swap out the Hershey bit for a Reese's or something if that's more your thing. No one has to know. @@fletniapana3789

Having a fangirl moment for my Invader Zim request being on screen 😁 Also I totally respect your opinion on that special. I like it, but the Christmas one is a little more memorable for me. The series as a whole is a treat though, it’s twisted and chaotic but the jokes are hilarious and the animation is mind blowing. I think you’ll enjoy it the more you watch. Great video as always! 👍🏻
As an Australian, i do believe that the biscuits used on traditional s'mores aren't something that the UK and Australia have readily available. We typically just roast the marshmallows and just eat those

This show was my entire world as a wee lass, I recall seeing a blob fish for the first time on that show and that was… something! Haha (beware that the blob fish isn’t the cutest thing)
It's also a WILD rabbithole learning that nearly an entire SEASON is still being held captive and the english version STILL has yet to be release from its clutches 😔

My favorite Halloween Special is "The Halloween that Almost Wasn't", where Dracula and the Queen of the Witches have a power struggle, and she threatens to quit, and thereby cancel Halloween forever if she's not given equal authority and merchandise revenue as Dracula. It is just so silly, and Judd Hirsch as Dracula is just conceptually hilarious.
Oh sweet Invader Zim. Zim is an Alien tricked by the tall ones, leaders who are chosen because they are tall, into going to a planet for "invasion preparations" when they were just getting him out of the way for the actual planets they were invading.

Same here. I feel like you could get a pretty decent amount of lore from those movies, especially the first two. More than anything else though, I would love to hear her talk about both the DIC and Nelvana TV series, as they both have that classic creepy villain and bumbling henchman setup (No Heart & Beastly > Coldheart & Frostbite, but I'm curious on your thoughts).

I can't wait to see how many of these I've seen. So far I vaguely recognize the Sofia the First one, never saw the SpongeBob one, never heard of Underfist, A.N.T. Farm I've probably seen but I remember next to nothing of that show except that it was a good show and had amazing music, never heard of Scary Godmother 2 I don't remember the ranking of the first one either, never saw Invader Zim, Count Koopula, never heard of Smiling Friends, never saw Big Time Rush, I don't remember Backyardigans no idea if I saw any of it.

Invader Zim is just like that. There's an episode where Zim turns Dib into bologna, and there's an episode where the worst thing in the world is just a blank room with a moose. It's very 2000s 'randem xD' at times but it's also weirdly freaky at times (looking at you, dark harvest) and I love it, but if you don't, I get it.
You should do a Peep And The Big Wide World lore vid, I never hear ANYONE talk about it.

In the SpongeBob stop motion where plankton talks about being in SpongeBob’s brain was a nod to the movie sponge out of water. Where plankton went inside his brain to find the formula. Instead, he found his brain was filled with sweet and wholesome images. I loved that extra detail soooo much!

Personally, I kinda liked the laid back nature of the first Scary Godmother- when it focused on Hannah and her getting to know the monsters. It felt like A Muppet Family Christmas meets Hotel Transylvania. When it focused on the other kids, it was kinda boring, with too many Family Guy "a joke goes on for a minute" moments. But I do love hiw the stakes are a lot higher this time around, as it makes sense for a sequel.

I've never seen the Scary GodMothers, they got blasted by reviewers back in the day and it seems like it';s just liked cuz it was spammed every year aka Grandma Got Run over by a reindeer lol.
I like the Zim Halloween episode isn't even the top 5 most messed episodes lol. My boy Kyle Norty blasted Count Koopula and it looks just very noisy. I like how you did the monster world AU eps in reverse order lol.
As a HUGE invader zim fan, it's totally fine not to get it. It's definitely something that's hard to get into espeically if the obsession didn't start when you were young. I will say that the newer stuff is better, like the movie and the comics. The show is more of an... acquired taste, but I adore it and it's humor so much.

Phantom of the megaplex was my fav Disney halloween movie, aside from the entire Halloweentown saga. Such a freaky movie as a kid. I was actually afraid to go to the movies alone until i was 12, because i watched this movie when i was 4 and it scared me. But i still watch every year.

Allow me to explain since I know…. I think everything about invader zim? So, in the beginning how Dib started getting the visions of the “spooky realm” as I’ll call it, was when he was looking through prof. Membrane’s alternate reality viewer with the power all the was up, (the spooky realm is basically just an alternate universe where everything is all spooky, etc.) but since he used full power, the vision become permanent, getting longer each time, and less like visions, and more like he was temporarily getting transported to that reality. Meanwhile Zims whole side thing is that he hates Halloween because he thinks all the children will turn into zombies because of a joke Mrs. Bitters make earlier, ha ha Zim is dumb etc. Later we realize that the spooky realm exists entirely inside Dibs head, and they want to escape to the real world for evil reasons. Most of it is pretty self explanatory if you’ve seen it a thousand times like I have, lol. But basically at the end the monsters come out of Dib head, see how gross earth is, and just go back. 22:15 Thanks for reminding me of Yo Gabba Gabba having two cameo appearances in Big Time Rush. I don't know how many people remember this, but 3/5 of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters (not including the guy who played DJ Lance) were the antagonists for the B-plot of Big Time Rush Episode 5 season 4.
I am mostly bringing this up for Athena's upcoming Yo Gabba Gabba video because the Yo Gabba Gabba cast are in character in said B-plot. Implications I stopped caring for around 2015, but relevent for Athena.
