- Already six months without her. The day I had to let her go. I will never forget what I saw when I turned my head and had to walk away. It breaks my heart everytime. When I look back to these times together, I see how truly lucky I was. Now nothing is the same anymore. But despite everything, how bad it feels, I know you know that I'm strong enough. I know you are still with me. Even though I can no longer see you and hold you.
It will always be difficult for me. A very big part of my life is gone. I don't go to the horses anymore because she is no longer there. It's just gone. and I will always continue missing it. I know what you have given me, I will no longer have, or get one more time. and that's what makes it so hard. you were 1 in a million. Ofcourse I wished that you could be with me for many more years, but when I look back, you fought for me everytime. I know you didn't want to give up, you didn't want to leave us.You overcame so many colic attacks..and how you did that, how you came back as if nothing was happened, so strong. You have always fought for us.
We already had more time than the vet said she would have. I enjoyed every moment with her. 11 years long, the most beautiful time of my life.
I want to thank all of you for the comments under my last video, for the support that I've had, the sweet words. I have read it all. as I read it I have to cry again, how you thought about us, those beautiful words. how we were an inspiration for you. it really gives me strength and support. so thank you youtube, I never would have missed it.
Thank you all for your kind words. I can not watch the video and not read the comments without tears streaming down my face. I still have a hard time with it and the loss is there every day. I miss her terribly, you all know how much I loved her. my life is different now. I miss my happiness, my joy, the smile that she gave me. It is not only that I lost her, it goes deeper than that. I grew up with her, now matter how I felt, she was there. and when I saw her everything was good again. but I have to stay strong. thanks again for all your words. it means a lot to me. every sentence you write has touched me, that she is proud of the person who I am and that she’ll always be with me. I know that is true and I must get my strength out of that. thank you all💔
Deeem100 My horse died almost 2 year ago... I haven't been able to love any horse the way I loved him... It does get beter but the pain will never go away... The moment you have to choose between you hart beeinig broken or your horse in pain is probably the hardest moment in life! stay strong❤ I know that right now it's an wound but evently it wil become a scar. Lots of love❤❤

Deeem100 ; I know how you feel. I lost my boy, Checkmate, almost two months ago. I miss him so, so, so, so much. The only thing that helps at all is that he's not feeling pain anymore, and neither is your beautiful girl. The grief never really does end, does it? I remember a famous poem that says: “Grief is like an ocean; it comes on in waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, sometimes it is overwhelming. I will never forget how my heart dropped when I saw that she had passed away. My heart aches for you. This sweet girl absolutely thrived under your love and care, the two of you bought out the absolute best in each other and getting to watch your journey was an absolute privilege. I’m just so sorry.

A few days ago, I lost my horse too. I got her when I was eight years old and kept her until I was fifteen. She taught me how to be a good rider, how to be patient, how to trust and everything else I know and love about horseriding. And during those seven years of owning her, I have just once (!) fallen off her back. Just once. That's how careful she was treating me.
We sold her and bought a bigger horse because I became a whole lot too tall to still ride on her and we did not have enough money to own to horses.
That was 2 years ago and I've missed her so much all that time. It hurt so bad that I forbid myself to think about her.
Now, she's dead. I can't believe it. I've been crying myself to sleep the past days. I'm crying as I'm writing this. I just wish that one more time, I can touch her. Her furry brown body, her soft nose and feel her breathing. I wish so bad I could see her one more time alive.

This was the hardest video for me to watch. I understand what you're going through, and it is so far from easy. I agree with you, i keep replaying what happened, and quite honestly it hurts still for me to walk by the spot where it happened. But something that has helped me cope is that you just have to remember the good times you two had. And know that she is always always watching over you, and she will forever! I am so sorry you had to go through this..my heart is broken for you.❤️

I just found this video and I can’t watch it without weeping. I just lost my baby and I feel this pain. The reminders in this video to keep going are so helpful. I like to think they are happier in the sky but it hard to think that because of the emptiness we feel down here on earth. I knew this horse called Bruce, he hasn't died yet but because of Covid I haven't been able to see him and because i haven't seen him for so long i absolutely miss him . i remember that he always hated people and he always loved his personal space but i don't know how we made a very deep connection when i first set eyes on him and i think that a very deep and strong bond has grown between each other. but everyday i miss my best friend, but i know one day i will be able to see him again but for now i still miss him and it hurts so much when i think of him.

Oh my gosh, i have to go see my horse who's been with me since he was a baby and now is 16. I JUST had to put him in up for board last month bc we sold our home....I havent seen him since and I feel like I am the worst person in the world bc he too is that "One of a Kind" I have so many people (horse People) tell me that, his vet, his farrior EVERYONE wanted to buy him and now I let him go without even saying goodbye bc it was just too hard. I am so sorry for your loss but just know that you have made me re think everything about him and what the heck i am doing. I know he is wondering where i am, he was with me everyday for 16 years and now i am just gone. I feel like He feels like how you do only (like our position is just opposite) although I know it doesnt compare to actually losing your horse and I know that! I just know that I have watched him getting so much older and have a bout with founder last year and his health has declined (i know bc i didnt ride him like i should have and he was missing other horses bc he has been by himself which made him even more reliant on me) so I chose to just walk away and see him every so often bc it hurt to see him. I am going this week after watching this video and I will go every week there after and do what i know he wants me to do which is to ride and get him out like he always loved so much!! I am so sorry for you loss again and just know that you and your beautiful girl are helping others ....MUCH Love to you! Xxo

I went to horse camp and met this haflinger horse as well her name is willow but after the camp was over the owner of the camp went to a retirement home so I can never see willow again and every time I think of her I cry.i know that I won't be seeing her again for a very long time I dream of her every night I'm in a wild flower meadow and willow is just there with me but I know it's not real I miss her so much.😭

There was a Horse at a nearby stable I sometimes go to and that was a pony named minty she was my love my heart my soul my home my family my words my breath my everything she was very old and she got retired I love her to pieces the second I looked into her eyes smile is not love me but I love her I just wish I could be with her now I love her so much why did you have to grow up so fast I love you so much and I might seem silly but I’m crying right now and you are my love and I will never forget you phone the moment I looked into your eyes when I went to the stable next time and I heard that she was retired I was crying in my heart my heart was black I couldn’t see properly I felt sick without her now whenever I go to the stable I feel empty hottest without her God bless him and he for ever

Pretty horse sorry for your lost I am super sad I got some news a few hours ago and at my nannys field there was a emergency and she rushed her horse to the vet holly and her horse holly passed away in the back of the horse box I was crying alot and I am super sad my nanny is also super sad I miss u holly wolly your my favorite girl horse forever and ever u are always heart

This makes me think of my mare she passed at age 27 a long life most say. Colic is a monster and took my baby girl too. My parents bought her when she was 6 before i was born and i grew up with that mare we were inseparable most say. She was a 16.3 hand chestnut Oldenburg mare with a big blaze and a striking blue eye on the left side. I'll never let go of the time my best friend drew in her last breathe. R.I.P baby girl i'll see you on the other side, and we'll both be in god greener pastures.
