Hi Mr. Isaac, diesel pump timing do set diesel injection in time to make the engine operate Very good and strong, visit my CZcams channel and go to videos look for BMW N47 Timing Chain, and watch it in that video i did set up the timing chain for the engine timing 100% and for the injection diesel pump timing out 15 degrees because i do not have the timing tool that set on the crankshaft to set the pump 15 degrees away of the engine timing, but i put the timing on crankshaft at OT and the 2 camshafts on the right marks and the diesel pump on its right mark on the engine aluminum plate With the injection pump sprocket Mark , and the engine runs very powerful i did more than 100 engine timing chain for this n47 engine this way and all runs very good and very powerful , watch the video that i told you about, and then tell me if you did watch it or not, you did :) Subscribe to my channel if you did not yet Thanks.

I have a 2015 BMW 328d with 136,000 miles. I’ve had no issues so far but starting to wonder if I should replace the timing chain. What are your thoughts? I know this motor had a tensioner issue back in 07 and 08 but was fixed. Should I be looking to replace mine?
Hi Mr. Wesley, Happy New Year, i Believe this engine chain tensioner is very Good and Works Very well, but when Engine timing Chain Replace time Came , Need To install New Timing chain kit to Protect the engine , after 100,000 Km the engine chains will get stretched and need to be Replaced With all Gears & Guides and use Good Engine Oil.
