Reparatur von Gefrierschublade bei Riss mit Sekundenkleber und Backsoda - Jak na to + styl
Brilliant. Worked for me. Saved £25 on a new drawer. Thanks
Wow!!! Just amazing.
Just tried this and it really works. Great strong bond. Thanks sharing this great idea.
Thank you, my man. Great work.

It did work, sehr gut gemacht!
Thank you so much, I just fixed it.
Thank you!
Fantastic I’ve just fixed my broken draws using your tutorial and it’s worked great 👍 I’m well chuffed I always love to fix things if I can 😊
can u tell me please, do u still have them drawers in a reasonable condition or broken again ?
@@jlkklo15 they are broken again and haven’t got around to doing it one more time
@@allykitten2003 thank you letting me know
mine is still working..
Great.Well appreciation from family members 🎉
What I did was I just poured superglue straight from the tube into the cracks and it found its way in due to capillary action. I could see it fill in the cracks making them look a lot less obvious. I let it sit for an hour and put the drawer back in the freezer. Job done. Update: I just took the drawer out after it had properly got down to it's operating temperature. Tugging away at the drawer and it is very secure. I think your method will be even stronger, and a better repair if my method fails. I'll give it some wear and tear and let you know how it holds.
Thats great Roy. Let me know! Now since this video, one of the cracks at the front face has failed, which I need to repair again. But this crack is really in the middle, where I grab the drawer everytime. Other cracks have shown no sign of distress ;)

@@hbasm3271 Cut out flexible food container lids (yoghurt, Ice-cream etc). After glueing the front of the fridge drawer or shelf...then glue the entire lid patch/patches to the back/ underside.
Thank you, that was really useful. I just repaired two drawers- it would have cost me 110 euros to replace the two of them!
Thanks
Thanks for this information. I will try it too!
I believe this will never work long term and will eventually come apart due to the temperatures. From my personal experience, the only thing that really works is sadly not easily available to purchase in the UK. It's a product called WeldOn ('No.4' I believe) and it literally dissolves one side of the cracked plastic to the other and makes a bond that's as strong, if not stronger, that the original. It works brilliantly and repaired cracks in my fridge drawers where the cracks ran along the brackets where the weight in the drawer is constant. It can be a bit ugly if you put too much as it leaves the plastic diffused, and it's tricky to apply because its viscosity is that of water, but it really works and welds the material together.
Thank you. I'll try this - I was quoted £75 for a new drawer
I just fixed 2 drawers and 1 shelf (the one on the bottom and both of the shelves that hang from it). They all look surprisingly well. Thanks!
can u tell me please, do u still have them drawers in a reasonable condition or broken again ?
Would be interesting, how long it held together. Please comment!
sorry for late reply. It is still in good condition !
4 yrs plus, still in good condition.
They really should redesign how the bottom drawer goes in. Mine has a 'speed bump' at the bottom, so when the drawer is full, you have to push hard to close it - cracking the front of the drawer.
Agree. A poorly designed drawer on many fridges I have had, all fail and split and they're not cheap to replace either.
Thank you for the excellent tutorial! It has worked really well. I just have one question, how long did you leave it before putting the drawer back in the freezer? Did you wait 24 hours for it to fully dry?
No, I probably waited for 30 min. Cheers
@@so4ragb Brilliant, thank you very much! This saved me £100 for two new drawers.

I am afraid out crisper drawers are way too broken to attempt this repair, and many pieces are missing, unfortunately we can't find replacement ones for our LG fridge, LG GR L197WS.
Does this also work if a piece is completely broken off? Instead of just cracks.
never tried that before. can't say. sorry.
@@so4ragb I tried it. It works fine :)
@@ntdnr1JeanClaudplease how long did it hold together?
@@RoSario-vb8ge approx 6 months
Should the baking powder go in the crack fist then the superglue on top so soak in...
you can do either way. But, I prefer to glue first to stick them first at inside of crack. Then put some glue at the side surface before putting baking powder over it.
What was the baking soda for?
Why do you have to put baking soda?
Cyanoacrylate and bicarbonate react to make the bond stronger and faster
@@so4ragbsuper interesting!
Cracked somehow? Come on you know what you did. You let that freezer go a bit wild inside and could not be bothered to defrost it and kept trying to open and close those drawers! I know from experience! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
wanted to keep my privacy ;)
We don't have to reveal...
I enjoyed the video! Keep it up! Would you like to be CZcams friends? :)
Thank you!
