I love your videos. About a year ago I was a prescription pain pill addict. I voluntarily checked myself into a rehab/detox. A couple months later, it was like all the time, energy, and money I used to spend on doctor/pharmacy bills went into creating wealth. I do everything now. No job. Self employed. I flip cars, motorcycles, musical instruments, all kinds of stuff. But my favorite thing is to build furniture. You videos inspired me and I've discovered these last few months that I have real talent and artistic vision for building furniture. I think you would like my stuff. If you ever want to see some of it let me know. Again, thank you so much for making these videos. They have literally changed my life. 😊
Oh my gosh I love that so much for you!!! That is an incredible story!!! I would love to hear more and see pictures! Can you send me a DM on instagram? @thefurnituredr
@@thefurnituredoctor sure thing! I'm currently working on a trash to treasure project. I've got some old desks from the 70's and they look rough. But I'm going to tear them down and rebuild them as an entertainment center.
This is so inspiring 🤍
Her Finding old things is good she doing a good job on them
Thanks for watching!
Please continue doing shorts. Love all the vids keep up the amazing work
Thanks! Will do!
Cool blue $200 + about
🙌🏻🙌🏻
I would start around 350.00 (cost was 80 or 90?) & I think the paint & accessories were probably free. I estimate you spent 3 or 4 hours on it? Maybe 400.00 asking. What did you list it at? Nice work on this piece. My son & I are making an MCM inspired cabinet. It’s fun!
Thank you so much!! I haven’t listed this one yet- I just finished it yesterdag! MCM inspired is the best ❤️❤️
🍆 🚴♀️
I always check the clearance rack first in the paint section I got 2 full gallons of a really good paint for $8.00 so $4.00 each and the colors already matched the colors of my walls (which was a happy accident lol)
yesss!!!oops paint is the best!
Easiest way to prevent the bleed through is to hit it with that polyurethane after you put the tape on, or whatever your base is finished in. Then paint over that. It will give you really sharp lines since there's nowhere for the paint to bleed.
Good to know!!
I know I’m tagging you 6 months later, but did you watch the video? She did exactly what you’ve said here.
@@kiwigirlNZ yeah I see that now. I honestly don't know what prompted the comment and you're right. Not that it excuses it but I was probably watching this before I fell asleep.
@@NGinuity Well, that makes a bit more sense 😂
Hi, please use dust extraction and a mask!!! Really important.
I do have a dust extractor to my sander! Thanks ;)
