    For recuperation. I think the B-mode was removed because there seems to be a new setting in the car. Smart recuperation, where map and radar is used to decide if the car should roll or it should recuperate. Or you can set it to low/high

    • @P_R_379
      @P_R_379 Před 3 lety +2

      You can select 3 different types of recuperation in car settings, so not only the car has a B mode but 3 different B modes selectable.

    Great set of videos Thomas on all the Octavias. I think the IV is the most attractive version of the VRS , it’s a shame they don’t do AWD for this drivetrain and as for those fake exhaust tips, I’m not a fan. Would be nice to see the Scout version of this

  • @MrGravewormy
    @MrGravewormy Před 3 lety +5

    Hey Thomas, some constructive criticism: maybe you could explain the preheat / cool function or at least mention it a bit more detailed since most of the PHEV do have it. (is it possible to configure with an app other than the additional key for instance) However the Skoda Octavia RS IV lets you configure a separate parking heater in the german/austrian configurator which for me is a bit confusing. Mercedes and BMW do not give this option when choosing a PHEV. Also you again did not mention if Apple Carplay is possible wirelessly. It is indeed a technical detail most of us younger viewers do want to know. Otherwise as usual a very good review of the autogefühl team. Stay healthy!

    Mmm, it’s a very heavy car, hence the slower 0-60 time. For me, if it’s a money question opt for the diesel, performance opt for for the petrol. Would be interesting to see the differences of in-gear acceleration between all three models.

    • @aurasdoom
      @aurasdoom Před 2 lety +1

    Thanks for the great review guys, I've been weighing it up and I'm going for the Diesel. 200ps / 400nm is enough power for me, and 55mpg is very good and probably what most people will get from the hybrid anyway in the real world, it's cheaper than the hybrid, probably quicker... and without the problem of having to recharge everyday. At least, thats my view. Merry Christmas to the Autogefuhl team BTW! :-)

    We have a Golf7 variant 1.5 Bluemotion and that gets about 6-7l/100km so the 7 is great for this, while carrying extra weight.
