    Can you install a router table in the extension on the F1 or F2?

    Hey how do you align the blade. And also my increments on the rail are about 1/4 off (short) if I'm cutting 31/2 it cuts 31/4 what's up !!!

    Why does it not have a tilt lock for the blade?

    • @LagunaTools
      @LagunaTools  Před rokem

      The design and weight of the trunnion mechanism in this saw does not require the use of a tilt lock to hold the tilt in place.

    Didn't see it mentioned...does this saw have the 'leave my fingers on my hand...blade brake?

      Please ignore my stupidity...just realized why it wasn't mentioned...Laguna...again my apologies

      Work smart, not hard. Keep the blade guard on. Scrape a line from the blade all the way to the front of the table and use it as a mark for your cuts. That way your fingers won't ever get close to the blade and you will save up cash! Thank you Laguna for the great prices and services!

    Can you use the fence on the left side ?

    • @LagunaTools
      @LagunaTools  Před 3 lety +1

      The fence is designed to be used on the right side of the blade. The extruded fence face can be moved to the opposite side of the fence body should you need to use the fence to the left side of the blade.

    Did I see correctly that the fence does not engage with the table on the opposite side? Does it engage only on the operator side? If so, how does the design guarantee stability and the ability to stay parallel to the blade?

      How many saws on the market now, have a fence that locks in the rear?

    • @dt2419
      @dt2419 Před 3 lety +3

      Good tolerances and a proper locking mechanism creates stability. With pressure from both sides on a fence that locks on the rear, a bowing or warping effect can be introduced. You’ll notice most high end panel saws only lock on the front and this is common among good saws, as the castings are heavy and accurate with a good clamping mechanism.

    Cannot hear what you are saying. On our tv the background music drowns out what you are saying.

      Thanks for your feedback! We'll take the music volume into consideration for upcoming videos!

    It’s a fusion 1 and he must have been nervous because he refers to it as a fusion 2.
