First “Mods” for my 2021 Ford Raptor 37 Package!

- In this video I show you my 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor 37 performance package with the newly applied 3M Ceramic window tint and Line-X’d wheel-well liners. Nothing crazy I know but I think these small additions really bring the truck together well. The heat reduction alone is reason enough to pull the trigger on ceramic tint… and having a little privacy within the cabin never hurt anyone either.
What are your thoughts? How dark do you normally go when you tint your vehicles? Any thoughts on the Line-x versus inserts?
Thanks for watching as always!

super nice truck and fleet of vehicles. every time i watch your video seems like you got a new car and a new house! Big baller man!
Waiting on my '23 Raptor Code Orange 37 package and will do the same modifications. Looks AWESOME!
You got a really nice house
I appreciate it man, thank you. We’re extremely grateful
Didn’t see anyone else say this, but your body is aluminum so moisture under the liner won’t cause rust
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the body aluminum? Aluminum doesn’t rust, it will oxidize, and will dull, but it won’t rust and rot like steel…
Windshield tint is a must
Good mods to make, especially the wheel wells.
I appreciate it man, thanks!
Went with 3m ceramic on my Tacoma because of you…..no regrets!
Awesome man! Glad to hear!
Looks great dude👏🏼 that’s a badass truck right there
Thanks man 🙏🏼
I started doing 35% on my windshield. It’s great. You don’t even need sunglasses most days
Have them fix it.
Hopefully the glossy spots don't have an adhesion problem down the road. Kinda sucks they couldn't get that right on a 100K truck. I'm really picky and would not be happy about it but trying to fix it will probably make it even worse. The window tint looks awesome and should make a big difference with the heat.
Your trucks body is made of aluminum, so rust behind the LineX won’t be an issue. Also, if they properly sanded the area before applying the LineX, adhesion should not be a problem either. But the fact they carelessly sprayed it like that would make me question the quality of the whole application.
Good mods!! I’ve toyed around with the idea of the linex in the wheel wells
The Linex looks great compared to the paint. I had a 19 Raptor and hated that about it, just never made sense why they would do it and looked so cheap and gaudy. Looking good.
Thanks man. Yeah it definitely looks unfinished from factory… =\
Looks great! I prefer the Line-X option for wheel wells as modern trucks already have way too much plastic on them as it is.
Thanks man, I agree 100%
Tasteful mods! I think rapid red is another great color!
Thanks bud! Agreed. Can't go wrong with either.
Nice truck. Waiting on mine. As for linex on wheel wells, unless shop I went to didn’t prep right, after about 8 months it was peeling off.
I like the line-x but a terrible job… make them fix it
Looks good man!! Ceramic tint all the way around here for sure. I have a 21 F-250 Tremor and what a difference tinting the front winshield makes especially living in Texas! The wheelwells look fine don't sweat it. I have a 2022 Gen3 Rapid Red 37 PP on order but no telling when it'll be born. Keep up the content.
Thanks man! Yeah having the ceramic tint is a must in a place like TX. Congrats on your rapid red order, hope it comes in sooner than you think.
Production times seem to be improving. My 2022 is so far scheduled for Feb 7. So hand in there !
thought the bed was also aluminum which wouldn't rust like normal steel?
You're gonna see that shit everytime you walk up to it, especially if it's clean. I'd have them re do it. I can't believe they let that leave the shop like that. It is a truck but a nice expensive truck. The tint looks good, I think you have a good combo with tints on the front and sides.
You’re right. I’m calling Monday to schedule a fixing of it.
@@UntamedMotors I would do it and I'm not the type to complain but it's a nice truck and you're not going off road all the time for that to be covered up. If it was a 20yr old truck and you did it yourself I'd let it go but not that. Stay untamed sir, loving the content even if it's not a tundra. I've always loved the Raptors.
Awesome ride dude!!!! But if ur worried about moisture build ups behind that rear wheel arc cover you could apply a grease or oil coat on the metal before installing that plastic cover..
Looks great! Did the law enforcement ever question you about the windshield or tint in general? If so, what was your response?
Thankfully I’ve never been pulled over for window tint. I also drive like a granny most the time too…
It was like that when I got it officer
How difficult it is to see through the windshield when driving during hours of darkness? I am debating between 80 and 55 for my windshield.
70 percent ceramic tint
Aluminum won't rust. You're fine.
My 22 T4R would light up when I approached it. I went with 5% ceramic and 95% on the windshield, 5% was way too dark at night. It was the first vehicle that I tinted more than the car 35%. Not ever going that dark again.
Im sorry but that was a shitty job by linex! I did this to my 13 by myself after i took delivery and it still holding up today and it came out perfect, just had to sand and prep the surface correctly before spraying it in
Where do you buy those wheel liners
Beautiful truck hopefully I’ll be getting one at the end of the year 🤞 What is the cost difference with the husky wheel liners and the linex? Also I feel like the linex may be harder to clean. Only reason I say that is because the bed of my truck is linex currently and I can’t seem to get it to look like new. There’s always a little dirt and things stuck in the rough texture the linex creates. Haven’t scrubbed it or anything, just pressure washed it.
Yeah the line-x will be a little more difficult to clean. Price is about the same. I paid $240 for the line-x.
I like the LineX idea... but would prefer it to be a matte or flat finish.
Not sure about tinting the windshield. I’d like the heat reduction but I live in a dark sky city so already hard to see at times with tinted windows
I’d have them fix the Line-X 👍
Yeah it’ll definitely impact your visibility there at night. As for the line-x, that’s the plan. I’ll ask that they fix.
Love the orange but if I’m honest don’t get the blue interior. Maybe it looks better in person but I don’t think it’s going to age well just like blue interiors from the 80s and 90s. Badass truck regardless. Can’t wait for you to swap it for the solar flare trd pro tundra in a couple months lol
I'm still amazed that Ford left the wheel well painted like that. Especially for how much these things cost . Looks alot better now .
Now you just gotta get truck oil sprayed . Just don't do that rubberized underspray.
I agree, I don’t understand it either. Thanks man. …and I’ll get the undercarriage coated soon (and not the rubberized stuff).
I thought you sold the lunar rock 4Runner
Not yet. Just waiting for the title to come in the mail. Covid has everything so slowed.
@@UntamedMotors I gotcha! I thought maybe you had a change of heart :)
Did you go 3m ceramic IR or crystalline?
How are you able to find all these rare vehicles during this pandemic? I’ve been looking for a TRD Pro Tacoma but I’m not having much luck, unless I drive 1/2 way across the country. If I do they mark up is insane… Just curious, thanks.
Just takes countless phone calls. Cold calls to dealerships to see if they have any inbound. Takes a lot of patience and persistence.
@@UntamedMotors I gotcha! Thanks for the info man.
Trust me when I say in Washington State "I bought it like this " won't fly. Your tint is obviously illegal
That’s the one thing Ram does better than ford. They put the wheel liners in from the factory it looks so much cleaner ford needs to do the same.
I agree 100%
Won’t rust, it’s an aluminum body.
Blue seats in a red truck ????
Haha I know… I thought I’d hate it. But I don’t! It’s actually a nice change from the typical black interior.
I don't know if this is confidential or not, but why do you register your vehicles in Oregon when you live on the east coast?
If you are a resident of OR, you don't pay sales tax on your vehicle regardless of where you purchase it. If you don't know Mr. Untamed well, he likes to buy cars quite often, so this technique saves him money. To be a resident of OR, all you need is to claim and maintain a place of residence within the state. The same can be done in any of the sales-tax-free states.
@@SL_______ That's nice!
@@SL_______ And yeah, I know Mr. Untamed buys a lot of vehicles, been here since 2020.
Hhmm wonder how long before he sells this one.
The golden question. No plans to sell anytime soon!
You won’t keep it long enough to worry about moisture causing a problem 🥲
Maybe I’m weird but I love the fact you can see the body color in the rear wheel wells. I really try to keep that entire area clean. Including the shocks.
u sold the tundra? or traded it in?
Indeed. Last month
Truck looks great. Still on the fence about the blue interior. I have a gen 2 with the husky liners. I would just lightly spray those shiny areas with some flat rust oleum and be done with it.
Beautiful truck better than ram
Thank you! Amen to that!
The line-x guy kinda sucks. I know it is a wheel well, but still. Once it gets dirty and cleaned may not look as bad. Time will tell.
line x looks like garbage
