ahhh the reviews are no longer available :C I'm currently struggling with writing mine haha... I'm an international student and I want to try my hand at applying to my dream school :D It's so amazing how you can write so eloquently! I did realise that I left myself very little time to prepare for the LNAT and writing my PS ( I wish I decided to give applying to oxbridge a try earlier hhh) however I am determined to just try my best and if I get in, wow, amazing, and if not, at least I know I gave it a shot! i focused mine heavily on the books i've read! can also include your subjects, articles/reflections on your subject. '80% academic' is just focusing on your subject and discussing it :)

NO!!! still apply! your gcse grades are genuinely not the be all end all (you don't need all As/A*s to get an offer). you can do it, don't give up. your gcses are only one part of their considerations, you have so much more (ie a level predictions, teachers reference, your ps and interview) 😊😊😊

You’re the first youtuber whose personal statement video has made me feel much more at ease about writing it... thank you ! The only thing I’m worried about is work experience, since I have none and any scheduled was cancelled due to COVID:( is it useful to watch Supreme Court live-streams and examine these court cases and talk about it in my PT? I’ve read a few books, am in a law society at college but I don’t have much experience at all so I’m struggling with what to do whilst we are in lockdown :/

for work experience, don't worry about it! honestly it's just ONE out of the MANY ways you can show your passion - and i only mentioned my work experience in like 2 sentences on the PS. :)
i would suggest looking at virtual internships, can be useful! SC livestreams could be interesting, but to examine them in your PS might be too complex.
you can talk about those books to keep your PS academic!! and you can also talk about the skills you gained from your society. key point is to not just describe what you did/the event, but focus more on the skills you gained from it :). you can also use your a level subjects to show what qualities you have as a candidate!!
dont worry too much about the work experience 🥰 many dont have it! and its completely okay
nessa lui would be talking about how leading my law society be useful, how I headed debates on complex topics and my EPQ on capital punishment vs life sentence be useful to discuss too, as well as my books and subjects? Is this enough for my academic section??
