    1. Soak your nuts or seeds in water for 8 hours minimum and rinse before eating for best digestion.

    Being blunt but realistic: This video was from 4yrs ago and if the price per bowl was so expensive during that time, then I can't imagine how expensive it will be to make this food bowl in 2022. This is definitely food for the rich, a common man can't afford so spend so much just for one breakfast in India.
    Also the fact that one needs to freeze the bananas, is kinda counter intuitive to what one would call 'satvik'.

For some it is 9, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3 etc. Fruit meal for your first meal is great. Love all your videos...nd Sattvik food.. But a small clarification frozen bananas are with no prana or energy right... It's better to add fresh one right?

    • @SatvicMovement
      @SatvicMovement  Před 5 lety +9

      Hello, good question. Fresh bananas are better than frozen bananas, of course. However, we have used frozen for the sake of texture. If you use fresh bananas for smoothie bowls, you won't get the desired consistency. But it's not too big of a sacrifice, as we never buy the frozen bananas from markets. We freeze them at our own homes 4-5 hours prior to using. Much better than store-bought frozen food. Also, heating destroys many more nutrients than freezing.

      Don't eat fruit and veggies together. Fruits digest quickly and should be eaten on its own. Green leafy vegetables such as spinach, chard, collards, etc are the only vegetables that will combine okay with fruits. Consider tossing them together in a blender to make a green smoothie.

      Hi Sohini,
      In case you have a health problem & having a sedentary lifestyle - we recommend that you have only one or two types of fruits for breakfast. A smoothie with banana, coconut milk, or dry fruits is heavier to digest than eating fruits alone. Hence, we suggest having it only occasionally in the healing stage. For those who are doing vigorous exercise and for healthy children, it is quite good.
      In the Satvic food philosophy, we recommend having as much water rich fruits as possible(muskmelon, watermelon, grapes, apple, pear, etc).
