No, it just depends on how big or small you want it to be. Just make sure the engine mount holes are exact. Happy to help!

Hi, where did you get that live axle? i'm trying to build a gokart on my own but i haven't figured out a way to stick the gears to the live axle effectively, and i only find prebuilt kits on stores that cost a lot of money, is there some particular term for that sort of "notch" coming out of the axle to lock stuff on it that i'm not aware about? thank you in advance!

What did you use to connect the front two tires to the wood?
Angle brackets. They aren’t very durable though so if you have a more sturdy option I would use it.
