I bumped into Antoine Walker in a bar in Chicago at the height of his money troubles, but he was still kind enough to buy me a drink. Class act all the way.
You the reason he broke
I’m happy to hear his money troubles weren’t what they were made out to be
@@user-zg8lg4so3z me too
@@Kiemkiemkiem lol
He was still rich 😅 and still is
"Antoine, why do you shoot so many 3 pointers?" "BECAUSE THERE ISN'T A 4 POINTER!"
Antoine is a natural on the mic. Hope to hear more from him
Cybor Toine, Employee #8. I'll never forget his time in Boston. He and Pierce were a great duo in the early 2000s
Toine bro lol
I love that Antoine is calling out the disrespect towards Paul Pierce. You gotta understand Paul never got his just due ever since he came into the league. He was overlooked when he was drafted and overlooked amongst the other stars in the league. It wasn't until KG and Ray Allen got to Boston that people started to notice him. You always hear about players or teams playing down to their competition. Paul Pierce was one of the few who played up to his competition. No matter who it was. Never dodged the smoke and played like he was the best player on the court.
🎯💯
Real talk 💯 that’s why that 08’ chip hit differently than others, P was always getting overlooked but always an all star every year, then got real help when kg and Ray came and shined in the finals against another legend in Kobe
Well said
Top 75 and a HOFER!
That's exactly how I see him. Unbelievably underrated and underlooked, meanwhile they put Dame in the top 75 and overhyped him. Fascinating.
Antoine for his accountability and being transparent.#Respect💯
Especially the fact he didn't have to..
But it's a eye opener for those following after him.
This the type of advice/game almost everybody needs
Facts. Most these athletes blame money management or friends asking for stuff but ultimately the athlete has final say if their money. Always a victim but never take accountability but antoine did respect for that
Oh yeah he was a bucket back in the days him and Paul Pierce was a dangerous Duo 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆🏆
For sure
@@kennethcolbert3190 bro, to tell you the truth they was the originals, Steph Curry, and Klay Thompson before they time only if they would’ve just kept them together and not break them up
@isiahspencer3028 there's no lies in that bro at all
Antoine was so ahead of his time with his style of play in the early 2000s. He was the ultimate stretch 4 at a time when bigs weren’t jacking up 3s like they do now.
Now, you got a whole bunch of PFs and SFs out there playing like Antoine Walker.

Mr. Walker was a working man who had a financial hiccup. This brother is the same as all of us. No difference at all.
Antoine is a great interview, he’s a natural on the mic.
Thank you for the Paul Pierce clear up! The disrespect has been crazy!
One of the best interviews..knocked this one out the park
Great interview man. That Paul pierce sidestep on the right elbow was MONEY.
Hell yeah Antoine Walker. My dad loved watching him play back in the day. I'm from Massachusetts and he was like the saving grace when he was in Boston. So much respect for his game.
As a Celtics fan, Antoine was a bad man!!! 💪 walking buckets!
Glad to see Antoine is doing well. He was a beast back in the day.
He is definitely A real one.
I love how they gave pierce love like that those who know know
‘96 Kentucky is my favorite team of all time 🔥🔥🔥
Employee numba 8. Toine and Pierce duo in the 00s 🔥
S/o Matt and Stak cause they KILLED the Indiana run and gave some great interviews
Love Brother, for setting the story straight on YOUR story!
It's generous of you to share it when you don't have to, BECAUSE IT'S NOT ANYONE'S BUSINESS!
Keep your spirits high and keep doing your thang!
💯!

The 1996 NBA draft was legendary
Paul Pierce Has The Most Underrated Dunk Mixtape on the planet 🔥 hella bodies
He definitely got some posters in his younger days. He had that sneaky athleticism.
"I play my money" hardest quote I heard in awhile.
The OG Shimmy! Antoine walker is awesome. Glad to see he’s doing well. I’ve heard him on FS1 break down bball and he deserves a shot to have an analyst job. Hopefully he gets it. All the smoke keeps dropping hits! 💨🏀
Had us doing the shimmy on the fisher price hoops !!!
Yoo y’all going crazy with the guests 🔥🔥 this like 5/6th interview in a row that’s top notch
Waaay better interview for Stack!!! He chilled out a little bit, you should get loud once every 17 min great job stack!!! Great interview guys!!! Waay more watchable!!!! Let em talk, we wanna here yall too, but let em talk baby.
Kentucky started Epps at PG in the '96 tournament and Pope came off the bench. So they were starting two typical guards (PG & 2G) along w/ McCarty & Walker at forward, and Anderson as a swingman. Made them more athletic, more uptempo, and demons on defense. They scored 86 points vs. LSU in the 1st half.
he would kill it in todays nba
Dude is an example for young people on how to own up your mistakes and be a grown man and take care of business. Don’t follow crowds or even family members. You gotta follow what’s best for you. Great interview! 👍
dennis rodman needs an interview
The most underrated SF of the 00’s
AW is a class act. Great ball player. A great knowledge of the Game. Thank you Mr. Walker.
Twon is Chicago’s own. We love him here
Antoine Walker's game is perfect for today's game, a big that can shoot anywhere. This guy would be a superstar.
Great episode, we loved him at the Heat and it's great to hear he had a great time with us. KEEP IT UP FAM!
1996 was one of the hardest NCCA Basketball years ever. The talent in college was crazy. To be a champion that year says it all. It was tough to call any loss an upset just because a loss of understandable lol because it was packed with hoopers. Crazy tournament. That UK team was incredible. Team was packed.
We been waiting on this one 🔥
I remember walker use to ride through Boston hood in pearl white drop Bentley tht was motivation for me he 8yrs older ..walker was tht dude
🔥🔥🔥👍👍 motivation Gzz u see anybody else out there ?
Appreciate the interviews .. 🏀🏀🔥🔥
All the smoke my favorite by far
1 hour in, this been one of my favorite episodes and I've seen em all
Dude! I just did a road call for his Uncle Antwan not too long ago. Chill af dude and it was awesome to be that close to someone i grew up watching in the 2000s.
My favorite player growing up!! Him and Pierce needed a better coach and a better supporting cast. Great interview
I graduated from Mt. Carmel in 93. One year before him and Donovan McNabb. McNabb was special. Football team was special for several years. Simeon Rice attended school there. The Williams brothers in wrestling were dominate. School was loaded with talent.
He’d be a great fit for today’s NBA as a PF
Great Interview Big Fella.... Chicago love you you turn the city up in your era showed mad love to everyone in this city.
GREAT TO SEE YOU ANTOINE WALKER MISSED YOU IN MINNESOTA AND BOSTON

One of my all time favorite players. Cyber Toine. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💯💯💯
I am learning a lot from this Antoine Walker interview….
It's about time someone had him on a pod !!
He made me wanna shoot nothing but 3’s he was on that style of play early imagine him in this era 🔥
Cyber tione 💯 Fr he the prototype for the pf position today
Without question! He was so ahead of his time!

Cyber Twan, Employee Number 8... always underated but never duplicated ❤️🙏🏾🙌🏾
Employee # 8. Those IIT summer league days with Toine, TA, Shawn Marion, Pargo, Will the Thrill, & JC were legendary.
Gratitude
Man! Within the early 2000s of the NBA, my Pistons, BOS, NJ, DAL, and SAC were my squads!!!!
That BOS team was fire! Walker, Pierce, Delk, White Mamba, Williams, etc were good! Walker was a 🔥 3-pt shooter. Him and Pierce were dope together! Salute to Walker!
I just seen that Antonie Walker, employee number 8 Adidas commercial the other week 😂
We need a documentary on him
Toine, good seeing you doing well my guy!!! We go back to riding in the Navigator limo in LA at the magic midnight summer parties lolol! My guy was one of the coldest on that gear, stayed dressin, rarely saw you in tennis shoes lol!!👊🏿
Antoine Walker is really the one that started the 3point line obsession that this era runs on but Curry gets the credit smh
His shoe the A-Walk was dope 💯
When he say guys I instantly knew he was from Chicago 😂😂☠️ it’s crazy how country they talk and they in the Midwest 😂☠️ shoutout Chicago
Hoping for the next episode is steve francis
*NBA Live 99* 👌

Good times man 😅
Antoine Walker played with my man Stephon Marbury in the McDonald’s All American game.
Got a good one right here…
Shout out to Antoine Walker, a real dude and one of Evelyn Lozada's first "victims"😂
Damn forgot he was one of them 😂
@waynemyrie57 ...shidd now she probably got more bread than him. Lol, It's crazy out herre
She fine tho lol
Grew up watching Antoine Walker and Pierce and I remember the shimmy and the swagger. Modeled a lot of my game after those guys.
There was nothing better than wearing that denim Kentucky Antoine jersey as a 10 year old in 1996. Well, maybe a Jordan jersey but not to us who grew up in nowhere Kentucky. 'Toine still a hero in a Lexington.
The truth is Paul pierce is the most underrated player of all time, offensively one of the greatest of all time, demanded the double team every single night no matter who he’s playing
U speak "The Truth"!!!
His all-time top 5 squad from Chi-town was sick! Zeke n D Rose! Filthy
You just described Harden as well
As a child, I firmly believed that Antoine was the epitome of a genuine man, being the first NBA player and businessman to make all attempts with great authenticity.
From Michigan history lesson for youth first guy to shoot 3 ball with the famous shake 😎
Walk said he hit that steamroom after the club in the 305 South Beach
