Not a rivalry imo. Jokic got his mvps without campaigning or crying for them. Lost in the playoffs without his best players but he took the blame as a leader. Had one of the most dominant runs to his championship last year. He doesn’t talk crap and then proceed to hide from any real challenges. Embiid ain’t on Jokic’s level as a competitor. It’s not a rivalry. It’s one guy elevating in the playoffs to historic levels. And one guy acting like a wwe superstar in the regular season and then showing the world he’s a punk in the playoffs time and time again. Good video man. Hope more people call him out.

My perception of Embiid is, he’s your huckleberry when all is good, but faced with adversity or a challenge, he folds.
How does this look? Scores a ton of points vs a 6 &39 team. But disappears in a close out playoff game. Optics are suspicious.
Didn't he drop 50 on the best defensive win the NBA and the team with the best record in the West? Didn't he dominate the defending champs and dropped 41 with Joker on the other side of the floor? He drops a ton of points on everyone in the regular season. What you said about the playoffs is correct but the narrative that he only plays good against bad teams have been disproven again and again yet you guys keep parroting it.

When the Sixers needed him the most against Boston, he was a no show. They may have lost, but they did it disappear in those games. I like Embiid, I really do. But that’s my perception. And I don’t think Sixer Leander ship is helping him. It’s one guy and four helpers. I hope a more deserving person wins the MVP this year. I get it, it is an individual award and statistics are important but there are other players more deserving this year. Looking at the overall impact of the said player for his team, their standing and number of times they show up on every important game.

Yeah, the sixers so far have been a good team without Embiid, he is not responsible for their road wins because he hasn't played in road games against good teams, he only plays against the wizards and pistons and those kinds of teams to stat pad for his MVP case, my MVP this year is Shai, the guy with the most 30 point games this season, it is almost creepy how consistent he is, not only that but he has played against good teams and has been clutch against them, and I think he is leading the scoring because Luka and Embiid have missed games, OKC also have a better record than the Sixers, can't wait for a team like the Pacers or Heat to knock out the Sixers in the second round, the main argument against Jokic winning the MVP last year was lack of playoff success, but Jokic even last year had more playoff success than Embiid has now, but all of a sudden that isn't a parameter for the MVP, classic media moving the goal posts so their argument makes sense, and sure my favorite candidate SGA hasn't had any playoff success, he hasn't had any dissapointments like Embiid has either, Embiid shouldn't get another award unless he gets his team past the second round of the playoffs

70 points is impressive but that don't get you an MVP, it gets you a scoring title. Embiid has played barely any teams above .500 on the road. This guy only plays games were he knows he'll dominate. Honestly, what else could it be? Why not sit down on the easy games and play the hard games? He's also missed 11 due to unknown injuries and is 6 more missed games away from being inelligible to recieve any awards.
70 points doesn't necessarily get you a scoring title. To get a scoring title, your points per game average must lead the league for a minimum of 65 games or more for that entire season.

Before this season, where he did actually miss the Portland game tonight, Embiid played multiple games BEFORE and AFTER the games at Denver he missed....that happens since 2019 it's something called a pattern at this point.
