Right on. We saw the tape. Embiid is falling all over the floor all the time. Did we see Jokic diving and sliding all over the court, crashing into players' knees? Not once. Jokic is class, and Embiid is ... the opposite of class. Playoffs prove it. Embiid doesn't get those phantom calls in the playoffs, and he disappears, and goes home early.

Compare how many times Embiid goes down to the floor vs Jokić. Look at all the scratches on Jokić's arms. He doesn't get a foul called when that happens. Those fouls against GSW, the defender is displacing the trajectory of Jokić and are clearly a foul, one that is seldom called for Jokić.

The fact that Embiid is actually endangering the safety of other players makes him worse, no debate even needed. That's the worst offense by far and it's not even relatively close, and it paints a picture of a very bad human being that has 0 regard for others around them. He should give some of his salary to Ariza.
Embiid's flopping is literally hurting other players on the court. Teammates and opponents, this shit is ridiculous.
One of these two players’ games and stat lines is predicated on flopping and making their free throws, which only succeeds with regular season officiating and not with playoff-level basketball.
The other one goes without getting legit fouls called, loses out on those FTAs and points, is still legendarily efficient, an NBA champion and Finals MVP.

Many players play with injuries throughout the playoffs, if he had really serious injury he wouldnt play at all - simple as that. But nevermind that, he definitely doesnt get as many calls in postseason as he does in regular season (he basically leads the league in FT attempts per game for few years), even though its still a lot.

Well in the last 3 games Jokic has shot 4 free throws to Embiid 38. Shaq is right if you don't sell a foal has a big guy you don't get calls. Most all of what you showed of Jokic was a foal, he just letting the bind ref's see it better. Curry push off on Jokic 100%. Arm fully extended. Just because Jokic is 100 pounds more then Curry does not make it any less of a foal. Truth is Curry gets away with that move for years, was nice to see it get called for once.

Well film shows it, as Bam said there is a difference between selling calls and flopping. Joker has more touches than anyone and 6 FTs per game. Embiid and Giannis around 12, that’s double. If Joker is flopping he’s not very good at it. Yes, 18FT against Worriors, but 3 in the game after and 2 in the game before. Bam was his main defender in 5 games of NBA finals, if he was flopping he would know about it.

Jokic does a lot of body to body contact cuz he can overpower almost anybody that makes contact, now if the refs thinks thats a foul, thats on them and yes he still flops alot even in today's standards but embiid actually just baits the refs into blowing the whistle in every position. I hate this title and comparison because there is NO COMPARISON between these two but I watched your video anyway and it was solid, sorta.
I could go on for pages on this but I’m just gonna mention a couple important points of context that nobody is mentioning and reveals who actually watches the games:
1) To Bam’s point, it’s not different “shades” of flopping, it’s separate things. Flopping and flailing and foul-baiting to initiate or feign a foul is extremely different than accentuating or “selling” an actual foul is completely different, which is why Bam said Joker doesn’t flop.
2) If you watch these full games, you’ll see that Joker usually doesn’t even sell calls or “flop” until way later into a game after, to Shaq’s point, he’s been hacked to shreds. Joker gets mauled in the paint and gets no calls, misses the shots, then gets criticized for being in a “shooting slump” and if he brings it to the refs’ attention, then he gets techs and ejected!
Hell I could make a whole channel that shows which fouls get called against Embiid vs against Joker and conversely what fouls get called ON Embiid vs Joker. The refs routinely call Jok on light fouls that they don’t all against him on the opposite side of the court, then expect him not to get pissed!
3) You might want to include how many players routinely get clawed and bloodied by their opponents and STILL don’t get any calls! Jokić has more scars on his arms than some players have tattoos and new ones every week!

Honestly, I think it boils down to the fact that most fans have never played basketball at a high level. Most fans don’t REALLY understand what basketball IQ is all about. Drawing fouls isn’t easy… if it was everyone would be doing it. When you draw fouls, you get the other team in foul trouble.. which completely throws off their gameplan. It also slows down the game for you so you’re not as winded.

you should differentiate between "acting" and complaining. 95% of all players complaing by raising their hands or looking at the ref after a no-call they think should've been a call. But a "flop" is falling down or an extreme overreaction to a minor contact, I don't really see that with Jokic. That one foul with KAT where the doubt is “maybe Kat and other defenders should just use his hands less” at that point you’re just telling people to not play defense at all. You should be allowed to use our hands to alter shots and dribbles, a defender should not be punished for an offensive player initiating basically 100% of the contact
