    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Today's edition of PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR might just be the most fun episode we've ever done. It's our fourth time releasing a show right around the weekend of the biggest football game in America, as we pay tribute to the old NBC-TV primetime series "Jackpot Bowling," where the player who threw the most strikes in 9 frames was declared the winner. Although we don't have a cash jackpot to award for a six-bagger as they did on "Jackpot Bowling," we think we've come up with a new twist this year that makes our annual "Super Bowling Weekend" format even more fun. Unlike episodes in the past where we've held the usual kind of qualifying round, today, we will show you every ball of the qualifier in a new format we call "The Two-Minute Drill." Each player will be given two minutes to see how many strikes they can make in the allotted time. The player with the most strikes in 2 minutes will earn the highest seed in our stepladder finals. And on today's show, we'll crown two Super Roll IV champions -- one in the Littles and one in the Bigs.
    As always, your comments are most welcome and encouraged. We only ask that you keep your criticisms positive. In other words, if you're going to critique the kids, try to be helpful, not hurtful. Remember, the mission of PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR is to "Celebrate Junior Bowling and Elevate Junior Bowlers." If all you have to offer is to insult or demean our kids, your remark is sure to be deleted, and in the worst cases, you'll be blocked from posting here again. Don't be a jerk.
    If you like what you see here, please leave a "Thumbs Up" on the video. If you REALLY like what you see and want to be notified whenever we post a new video, click the SUBSCRIBE button and click the BELL icon to receive notifications. And if you love what we're doing here so much, then by all means, share our videos with your friends, family and bowling buddies on your social media feeds and in e-mail.
    Also, if you want to keep up with all things PRODIGY, the best way to do it is to join our Facebook group. Type "Prodigy Bowlers Tour" into the search bar on Facebook and click ENTER/RETURN on your keyboard. That'll take you to a page where you can submit a request to join our group. But remember to answer ALL THREE of our screening questions. There are no right or wrong answers, but they do help us screen out spambots and lurkers who don't otherwise even know what PRODIGY is about. Help us keep the creeps out by answering the questions. If you don't, your request to be added to the group will be declined.
    I don't mind telling you this is one of my favorite episodes of PRODIGY ever. The Two-Minute Drill is a lot of fun, and each of our stepladder matches on this week's show seems to build in intensity and excitement. By the time you get to the end of the show, you may be emotionally spent. I'm just warning you.
    Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. This is our last show for a few weeks. We'll take off on 2/1 and 2/8. On 2/1, it's the day before the big game in Miami, and my team is playing in it for the first time in 50 years. So win or lose, I figure I'm not going to be in any mood to be stuck to a computer the following week editing a show. And on 2/8, the bowling center has a tournament that is forcing us to the sideline. So the next PRODIGY taping will be on 2/15/2020, which means the next show to be released will hit CZcams on Friday, February 21, 2020. But I really think this week's show, "Super Roll IV," will keep you entertained for the next couple of weeks.
    Hope you enjoy it!
    GO CHIEFS!!!

      Belmo is the best asset to bowling ever. He pioneered that very nice two handed style that everyone uses now in juniors. It is exciting and very accurate with all that power. They can hit their mark consistently time after time and they are very good at spares when they rev up that plastic ball on those spares. Many of these young kids will probably be on tour soon!

    • @ProdigyBowlersTour
      @ProdigyBowlersTour  Před 4 lety +1

      Sadly, this house was very poorly maintained for many years and the pinsetters and other equipment fell into a terrible state of disrepair. The good news is, things are a lot better now than they were, say, three years ago. But it does seem like there needs to be a better method of reporting the problems so that the maintenance guys can repair them. Unfortunately, they have some people working at the counter whose knowledge about the sport of bowling would fit in a thimble with enough room left over to fit a Buick. As a result, they might take trouble calls from a certain pair of lanes and the thought would never cross their mind to write it up. So the problems that exist persist. It's annoying. But I'm not an employee of the bowling center, so there's only so much I can do. I mean, besides complain and be a squeaky wheel. I do that about as much as I can without becoming a real source of annoyance.

    That two-minute drill had me on the edge of my seat! Reminds of the one video where Jason Belmonte had 90 seconds to bowl as many strikes as possible! Also, Go Chiefs! I'm going for them for two reasons:
    1. If they win, it's their first Super Bowl victory in 50 years.
    2. They can teach my Bears a lesson about passing up on quality quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes.
