Kevin and Packy hyping up the crowd was amazing!! Most bowlers are so serious about it and get mad when they hear a pin drop. This was AWESOME!! Love those guys!!
Most bowlers are fine with noise as long as it’s a consistent noise. It’s when there’s a random loud noise in your back swing it becomes a problem
When you say a pin drop, are you referring to Belmo at the Masters?

No other Sport does it matter when, where, how, or why it’s noisy/quiet. And it’s honestly kind of annoying when people get mad saying he “creaked his water bottle in my Backswing” or somebody sneezed at the wrong time.😂
Idk to me, stuff like that is just like..really? Focus on what your doing, it shouldn’t matter what people are saying, or doing.
You can scream DONT MESS UP, right as I’m about to release the Ball, and it’s not going to affect me one way or the other. The same way it doesn’t affect a Batter, or someone shooting a Basketball. 🤷♂️
@@dylanfry7978 Tennis...and golf... just off the top of my head. You can get thrown out of an event as a spectator if you are disrupting the athletes during play.

Again, if a Batter can be just fine regardless of people yelling “SWING” or “DONT MISS” at the last second when the ball is pitched. Or someone yelling whatever they want while a basketball player is at the Free Throw line I mean we could literally keep going forever..
Point being of it doesn’t affect them it shouldn’t affect anyone else. If you let it affect you then that’s a “You” problem. Not the fans or spectators fault.
Sports like Bowling & as you mentioned Tennis & Golf have to evolve past that ridiculous nonsense. Because it’s no different in most any other sport..in fact those sports are probably a lot harder in those situations..
And this is coming from someone who absolutely loves Bowling, and was a Baseball Player all my life up through College. You can yell, name call, chant, or even just generally talk amongst themselves without being like “oh man everybody has to be deadly silent else the Bowlers get mad” or whatever else in my Backswing, my approach, or anything.
The same way it’s not going to affect me Batting, catching a pop fly, or a grounder, it won’t affect me in Bowling.

The crowd getting into it was awesome, packy and kevin bringing the life back, if it was more common it'd be better, crowd wouldnt be hesitant and bowling would be more enjoyable to watch, my opinion of course. Thanks for the entertainment.

I have been bowling lefty 2 handed for just about 3 months now because a friend needed a sub for his league and I'm just absolutely addicted to watching the pros to get better. These highlights are so incredible!!! I was rooting for everyone the whole time, I'm just in awe. Belmo is my hero because he is such a great person but Packy is the man!! Kevin and Jesper are great but I hadn't heard of Russo until now. So interesting about his recent thumb change! I enjoyed reading the comments here because you can't keep everyone happy at the same time but there are so many different opinions out there and also so many bowling styles. Shoutout to my lefty 2 handers and Belmo!
I have been watching Mr. Svensson bowl for quite a few years and never thought this until now, but his new hairdo and big beard makes him look like the statue of Vulcan in Birmingham Alabama.
I vote for Dave Lamont.. Please just let John Fanta go do other things I am sure he is more qualified to do.. bowling commentary just isn't one of them. sure felt awkward between he and Randy. Oh, and congrats to Russo. Lots of good energy in those matches from all the young guys.

Love the crowd getting involved. This is the way forward for the sport. With the hype, a sneeze or a cell phone doesn't matter. You just have to look to the dart world, who has risen somewhere from obscurity & it is because of viewer involvement.

I get your point, but at the same time, they get a warning for the first violation. It's a part of a lot of sports that you don't hold up play.

It bothered me a little when they said multiple times that Belmo started the two handed bowling trend. He wasn’t the first. It was Osku and I wish Osku got the credit he deserves! I love Belmo, but he wasn’t the first on tour or on TV to do it.
So happy Svensson beat Belmonte, Everyone is a Belmonte fan, but he ain't perfect!

Nothing at all was wrong with Keven pumping up the crowd, it’s just the fact that the 1 on 1 stepladder match shows are different where the crowd should be silent just while the bowler is on the approach. I definitely wish I could see Keven vs PDW cause PDW definitely would hate the crowd making noise and I wonder how it would be handled 😂

Belmo should have moved his target right on the right lane, not his feet, to ensure getting the earlier dry area. Unless of course he did 😂

I hate two handed bowling but it's here and you got to live with it doesn't mean I have to like it. I grew up throwing the ball conventional not this two handed stuff but it's here so congratulations to these bowlers.
The PBA can ban two-handed bowling but the two-handed bowlers can then start their own league and become the "major league of bowling". The PBA would become the "minor leagues".

The RNG of bowling is something i can't deal with. Same shot, same numbers, different result. What are you supposed to do.
That’s just false. There is no “RNG” in physics 😂 if you throw the same exact shot, you’ll get the same exact result.

@DS-qz2gu That's true, but the rng can come from pin action and pin placement. There's no guarantee that the pins are in the exact same spot. The same shot with the same numbers (rev rate, speed, line) can give you a strike on one and a ring 10 on another. Not to mention the added hurdle of oil being pushed down the lane, but at least that can be taken into account.
Also, if you think I literally meant RNG thats on you. We all know there's no random number generator in bowling. It's pretty easy to infer I meant the uncontrollable changing elements of bowling - pin placement, pin action being the biggest.

For tv there has to be. They have a schedule and they have to get enough commercials in. But i don't like the new rules. Things have to move too fast now for some.
They need to control the length of the broadcast for TV purposes. I don’t love it either, but it makes sense.
