Ducks fan here. Zegras is young. I like him and want him going nowhere. I think he will be crucial to our success in a few years.
He's clearly very skilled but you cant look at his point production on an aweful Ducks team right now.
I agree. Most of these armchair GM's probably only watch him play when he is playing their team. Watching Zegras pay all the time it is obvious he is offensively gifted. The last ten games or so of the season for the Ducks he started heating up a bit and also showed an improved two way game...Which admittedly still needs some work, but it is getting there. I want him with Anaheim!
Keep him please
Zegras has two years left on his bridge contract to show what he can do. I am in the camp that he will get back to form and then some next season. Also, he only played what, roughly nine minutes the entire game. That's less than two and a half minutes per period. Can't do much with that. Not an excuse but it is still part of it.
Agreed, I wouldn't read too much into it.
Dude it's z he's young ya but he's one of the players that should be putting up points on any line
Caufield, no points also 😐
Exactly! I see he had none as well! Well he got 4 today and Zegras still never got a point lol. Keep him in Anaheim please!! He’s all yours :)
he ended the regular season w a ppg pace when he was fully healthy. He'll be fine combined with all the other young studs on the ducks theres not much to worry about.
I'm just wondering where was this when he scored 8 points in last 8 games of the season
Bingo
no worries to be had but if that lowers his trading price that can play in the Habs' favor if we go that route.
Habs need to stay clear of Zegras
dah.
If you cant respect other you no what to do with yourself
I dont even understand what is the point of having Zegras in the USA team on the 3rd line, any Two Way Forward/Power Forward would be way more useful.
If montreal is going to add zegras to montreal , it will have to be on a price they are extremely comfortable with , no overpay in any way in a trade .
I will give Gallagher and Anderson. Nothing more.
It would take this years first pick and a high end prospect. Bad year or not he can score in the NHL and will be a 75 plus point per year player when he is in his prime.
@AnaheimRob in way do I see the 5th overall pick going to Anaheim for zegras , coming off a bad season and now a bad world championship , more and more looking like montreal will add a different player
@@THEGDB They certainly could and probably will. There is no way Verbeek trades Zegras on the low. If he does want to trade him he will wait until he gets back to form and his value rises.
@AnaheimRob or he doesn't return to form and loses his spot to other young layers , Anaheim did this recently to Milano and Rodriguez I believe , but I'm ot 100%sure
We'll take Zebras in San Jose. we'll show him some respect.
It’s not the fact that nobody showing the respect he hadn’t earned his behavior in people still he’s only 21
Who is Zebras? Is that one of the NHL ref's?
Zebra!😂
Could Zegras be lowering his own value to make him easier to trade to MTL 😂. I mean some players ask for trades (Gauthier), some make it hard to keep them by playing bad (PLD) Maybe Zegras is taking notes on this…. And in any case, if intentional or not, maybe this could be a game changer for trading for him.
The way you pronounce Zegras, is like me pronouncing Lagoricks. Oh and if 50 Subredditors are worried than I guess we should trade him.
Come to Philly and play with Michkov🤞🏼
As a Hab fan, this is exactly why I’d steer clear of your so called “ Anaheim Superstar”! On top of that, him and Caufield held off the scoresheet in a 10-1 route!
I don't recall anyone in Anaheim ever calling him a super-star. A rising star, yes, because that is still true, bad year or not.
@@AnaheimRob did you listen to the whole podcast/video? This dude called him an “ Anaheim Superstar” lol! That’s what I’m referring to and yes he’s way overrated! A hotdog or showboat isn’t what our team needs! Personal stats guys don’t fit into our
Culture! This is just my opinion
@@mikeking9696 As good as he is and as good as he probably will be he isn't a superstar yet and very few in Anaheim calls him that. If any. That was my point. That said, any team that wants a young affordable player that has an upside of 60 plus points per season will make room in whatever their culture is. I do hope Anaheim keeps him though. He seems willing to change his game a bit to be better defensively and can score. He's proven that part. Too much upside to trade him away yet.
Who cares... its a nothing game, let's see who scores in quarters, semi, finals...
Zegras is a perimeter player what did everybody expect? You make a living in the dirty areas. Not the clean ones.
Zegras to Vancouver for Hrnoneck
Will Smith has played in 5 games but in all honesty sat on the bench for most of them. Definitely not a reflection of his skill or ability. Older guys definitely getting preferential treatment.
Zegras to Columbus.
For me these games mean nothing, lets see 2ho scores in big games.
Habs should buy low .. lol
Both Zegras and Caufield sucked bad in this tournament. I still have tiny hope for Caufield but hab should not get Zegras.
If habs really want Zegra, should not offer no more than late 2nd round pick or 1v1 prospect, no more.
Zegras has been deployed as a third line winger, you can't expect him to produce there
Also playing these guys on third line is dumb.
Nope not concerned, you might be concerned about BB blood clots ......
Who’s this guy saying “ NEW” line mates lol? Caufield and Zegras were linenates in WJC! This guy is doing nothing for his trade value !!
Don't want zegres in montreal!!!!!
Ducks fans don’t want him going there either. You can have your Caufield
he should come to MTL
