It gives me great pleasure to see you enjoy the songs of ABBA
ABBA was really a very talented and versatile group:
two excellent musicians songwriters (guitarist Björn & pianist Benny)
two top female singers like blonde Agnetha & brunette Frida
(before ABBA they each had her solo career in Sweden)
remember that ABBA is an acronim with initials of your first names, and was two couples from 1969:
    Agnetha & Björn; Benny & A.Frida
Agnetha & Björn split at end 1978
Benny & Frida at begining of 1981
"Gimme gimme gimme (a man after midnight)" is a song influenced by American disco, after the success of the Bee Gees and the movie 'Saturday night fever "
In this song you can see part of the volume and range of voice that the blonde Agnetha has
ABBA was preparing his 1979 Tour of America and Europe, in the previous one , They recorded this song and filmed the video
(remember that Agnetha and Björn were no longer a couple since the end of the previous year)
This is the only video in which all ABBA is seen in the recording studio,
including staff musicians (bass guitarist and drummer) and sound engineer Michel Tretow at the controls, creator of the well-known 'ABBA sound' with his innovative 'wall of sound' multiplication technique (an adaptation of the works of Phill Spector)
The vídeo is a short versión, the recording of the single is more than 4 minutes (with a solo instrumental)
The introduction and the instrumental ending, that characteristic sound of Benny's keyboards, is what Madonna used for her well-known hit "Hung Up" (with the permission of the composers Björn and Benny, granting them share the credits)
Surely for the latter, this is the second official ABBA video with the most views on CZcams (behind only "Dancing Queen", which has already surpassed 500 million views)
For a new reaction I suggest:
Fernando (1976), with the brunette Frida as lead singer, so You can listen the other voices of ABBA
Thank you again for these video
See you in the next GOD bless you

Hi, nice to see you for first time
And thank you to react ABBA
the Sweden pop group that leads in 70s
    They was two couples:
    Agnetha (blonde) &
    Björn (guitarist)
    Benny (keyboards) &
    Anni Frid (brunette)
This song was recorded in August 1979, and premier in their Anerican-Europe Tour 1979
And have influences of Bee Gees disco music and the movie 'Saturday Night Fever'
The leads vocals is Agnetha Fältskog, she have soprano voice
the other singer is Anni Frid (Frida) Lyngstad, with mezzo soprano voice
Agnetha shine in high notes, Frida in lower notes,
and both together are fantastic and unique
You surely could check them specialy in their biggest worldwide hit "Dancing Queen"
    ABBA was a versatility group
esentialy europop, but a lot of musical genres
ABBA had more than 20 worldwide hits between 1972/1982 and this is one
    You could check this list:
    Waterloo
    Mamma Mia
    Fernando
    Dancing Queen
    Knowing me knowing you
    The name of the game
    Take a chance on me
    The winner takes it all
    Super trouper
(these are the nine #1 in UK official charts)
I hope you for new reactions to ABBA
I wish you a great weekend
    Stay safe and be care

I grew up listening to ABBA and they are, in my humble opinion, the best group ever.
Madonna used a sample of this song in her 2005 single "Hung Up".
    Loved your reaction.
Check other songs/videos from them. Chiquitita, Dancing Queen, Fernando, Knowing Me Knowing You, Eagle, I Do I Do I Do I Do.

I'm going to subscribe to the reactor who doesn't simply follow the rest by going for the butchered short version. Somebody at UMG should seriously consider issuing an 'official' video for the superior and longer original.
