I honestly couldn’t give two hoots what brand of car you’re messing about with as long as you’re doing it in your own inimitable style.
Hope the new car looks after you and your flock well, keep the great content coming 😊

Your car, your choice. Ignore those few who like to complain.
To be honest, I've thought that branching out to some other manufacturers would probably make a lot of financial sense for you.
You could still focus on MG Rover, whilst also buying and selling others to keep a more steady income.

I would like to see a review of the Audi. I think most of us here would love a Rover that we could use every day, but that's not always practical. So good choice. Although a diesel Accord estate would be cooler.

I honestly don’t think you should limit your channel to just one manufacturer. You could make the channel more about buying, flipping and selling old motors that deserve a new lease of life. Rovers will always be the foundation of the channel, nothing will take that away 👍🏻

Very much the case with the Passat too. I find myself just wanting to use it because it's comfortable and makes sense. 👍 it just gets you there. You just park it and forget about it. I think the earlier Audis like this are a bit firmer and more interesting. Sometimes you don't even feel you've driven in the Passat with the DSG box.

Great stuff, glad you've got a family car that you like. I'm still glad that my family car is a Cowley 75 KV6 though. Funny, I remember the journey into Doncaster from my parents house, just a 2 mile journey and we passed three BL dealerships: Edwards Motors, Kennings and Jackson's. We also passed a Ford dealership Ringways, Citroen - Roodhouses and Audi - Hayseldens. Out of all those, Audi were probably the least popular back then! My Dad had a mk 1 Toyota Celica ST 1600 Festooned with all the dashboard dials and goodies a 1970s man could hope for, it was a lovely car! So I'm not going to judge you for your choice. Vive le difference!

Good solid car an Audi and personally I quite like that era of Audi. You don't need to explain or apologise for your choice when you have a family and kids you've got to consider safety and practicality. Yes your channel is mostly about Rover and as someone who also loves Rover that's what I originally came to your channel for but I think most sensible people would admit as you did that Rover is not without it's faults and besides most petrol heads like more than just one brand of cars so don't be ashamed to have something different or show something different on your channel it's your channel your choice and if some don't like it well that sounds like their problem.

You made a solid choice. Yes, they may lack the character of a Rover or even a V70 with its styling, but Audis are popular for a reason. They just do the job well and feel like they'll go on doing it for a long time. My father got his A4 Avant TDi brand new in 2006 as a company car, bought it from the company in 2009 when he retired and it had done around 90k, and it's now on 220k with the original clutch and gearbox, despite having towed a caravan all its life.

Unfortunately we are in the Sunset of Rovers non have been made since 2005 and the older Rovers will out last the ones from the 90s. A few will hang on because of enthusiast. I have three Rovers (25/45/75) and a Mini. They are all wonderful in their own way. I also, as you know, have a VW Polo GTi Plus. It is a fantastic car and in many ways it matches, or almost matches, all of the various individual driving characteristics of all the other four cars. It is a great all-rounder and what it lacks by way of charm and character, it makes up for with outright performance and reliability.

Ano Paul main reason I have stuck with Rover is the fact that they have been forever reliable! Well apart from chasing power back in the day and popping a few cheap T16 Turbo motors! Full Vitesse or Ti was £200 too £400 at the time! So no big loss at the time! Them with my diesels just od seized fulcrum arm in gear box or od set of oil cooler pipes when they rot in me L series diesel they have been super reliable and bet I have done well over a million almost trouble free miles in rovers!

Hey, I'm chuffed you bought a German car. I own 2, my kids also have one each and we wouldn't buy anything else. You talk about Rover's like they're something special when in realiity they are quite the opposite. They are a model that was barely acceptable when Maggie Thatcher owned one and everything since then was part of a slippery slope to the here and now. Family ALWAYS comes first. When I see you scratting around to raise a few quid that gets you by for another week I think - what a luxury, to play at making money, doing what you want rather than honest graft that maybe brings in a wage that counts. This may seem like harsh criticism but I enjoy your video's for your character. If you were just servicing regular cars for honest money this channel would work just as well, I'm sure. It may not quite pander to the handful of Rover enthusiastes that watch it through their rose tinted glasses however. I'm a local lad. I pass your gaff 2 or 3 times a day. It would be nice to see you move on and maybe even succeed at spanner swinging. You have a decent starting base and the tools to move forward in this game. I will stick with this channel but honestly think it could be so much more. I wish you luck in whatever you choose to do.

If you want the channel to grow and earn money then you need to feature different makes of cars. Also, maybe cut out the very stupid stuff and try being a little bit more professional and mature (bit more like this video). But its your channel do with it as you want. But just showing rovers will always hold you back. So either keep the few happy or keep the masses happy and grow the channel and enjoy the rewards that will come with that. Stop thinking of today, think of the future.
