- Chrono Odyssey is a new MMO in development and recently dropped a trailer. For a trailer, this is legit the best MMO i've ever seen. Obviously this is just a trailer and we have to see what the game has to offer, but yea, I'm blown away by this for now.

Sorry for the volume issue here, didn't realize the video was so loud even after adjusting it! Let me know your thoughts on this game! This is legit the best mmo trailer i've ever seen. I honestly can't remember one that was better. Of course we can't judge this game by a trailer and it could be absolute garbage but trailer-wise this shit is goated imo.

Not only did the combat and the visuals look great, the trailer even showed something that at least looked like a realistic gameplay not like many other trailers these days.
Definitely the most impressive trailer I've seen for sure.

Holy shit I was totally skeptical, on the basis of, oh great, another MMO that we won't see for the next 5 years. But just found out that the official Playstation channel posted the trailer. Now I'm hyped.

This looks really cool but gonna reserve judgement till i see some reviews on how smooth it actually runs. With the graphics looking this amazing i'm kinda scared my PC will explode into a fireball trying to run it unless it's insanely well optimized 🤣

Chrono Odyssey was announced as a Mobile game, with console and PC ports in 2020. The game was also announced to have NFT content back then. Lets hope they changed their minds I guess?

Their previous IP was a genshin formula called Grand Saga.
This game's release was set to be 2023.
We can expect it within the next year I think.

No IN-GAME-FOOTAGE watermark. For me, this isn't real. I remember clearly Anthem by EA has a similar amazing CG. When the new trailer with N-GAME-FOOTAGE is released, I will finally say, this may be nice... The Game Industrie in the past few years force us the players not to be Hype to avoid deception.

Looks good, but seems like they are trying to cater to the mobile market as well, which worries me a little. Dont want it to turn out like throne and liberty where you just hit a button and it auto plays the game for you ruining all immersion, or keeping combat inputs too simple and boring for mobile

So the game might have time repeating elements and the world is called "Setera"? They even got some tongue in cheek vibes that gives me hope that the clever shit isn't going to just be in the trailer.
This has to deliver on content, otherwise, it’ll just be another waste of a beautiful game. Everything is top notch here, but mediocre content is what kills MMOs 90% of the time.

As good as it looks I'm not going to waste my time getting hyped for another Korean game that will more than likely be massively p2w and then flop.
This looks like the kinda trailer that blows me away and then releases the game 20 years later looking worse and requiting the new rtx 108090 to play. All with the added advantage that the time spent waiting will make me completely forget about the game. And then I go in anyways and get bored within 2 weeks or so. Then I uninstall it because I could use that spare 300GB of hard drive space.

Think the character models look a lot worse than those of the environment. That and hey, you see Chrono in the game title and immediately think Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross!
