The cocoonion oil from liitllextra feels very intelligently made. Its ingredients in the oil prove to be highly beneficial for hair fall control. I have never come across a product as this oil in my life. My hairs has become so soft while new growth is growing. The oil washes out in hair post a wash.

I had been felt insecured about myself especially around my head, because of a dry hair and an excessive amount of dandruff that it looks like it's snowing (in my country, it is obvious that it's a dandruff that are in my shoulders since we don't have winter season) and i experienced brittleness on my nails which made me thought that i have psoriasis but then i started suffered from hair loss which turned to a small bald spots on my head. I then seek to a dermatologist, it was such a long progress that i finally found that i was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata.
But with the help of the doctor, i was slowly getting better without feeling insecured. ❤

Mine started with a small patch when I was 6-7 y.o. The doctors said rub garlic which, apart from the stench, did nothing. Later on my parents took me to a old barber who had a magical cure. The cure turned out to be acid (I don't remember what type). They applied it to the bald skin, the pain was decent. After some days, a scab formed and with time it fell off and hair regrew. After some years the problem returned and this time the acid wasn't helping. Nor did any other treatment I've tried - corticosteroids, aloe jabs, and many more which I've forgotten. Around age 20 it was impossible to hide the patches so I started shaving completely.

Alopecia areata at 15 can be distressing, as it causes patchy hair loss due to the immune system attacking hair follicles. Its exact cause is unclear but may involve genetics and environmental factors. Treatment options vary, including topical medications, injections, or light therapy, and it's crucial to consult a dermatologist for proper care. Many individuals experience hair regrowth, and seeking emotional support through counseling or groups can be beneficial.

@Baldrick_dogsbody Understanding the connection between alopecia areata and autoimmune conditions, especially after a COVID-19 infection, can be a big step toward managing it. COVID-19 has been linked to triggering or exacerbating autoimmune responses in some cases. It's important to work closely with a healthcare provider to explore treatment options and manage any underlying conditions. You're not alone in this, and seeking the right support can make a difference.

That could be a lack of vitamin D. Feb/mar/april are the months just after winter where we have not had much sun exposure due to being inside so much. Many people are low in vitamin D around this time. Maybe that could be it?

Correct. The term "Alopecia" means hair loss and covers many conditions. Alopecia areata is one type, causing patchy hair loss. Using "alopecia" to specifically mean alopecia areata is incorrect, as it includes various types like androgenic alopecia (male/female pattern hair loss) and many others.

Alopecia areata is an autoimmune condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, leading to patchy hair loss on the scalp and other areas. It can be distressing, but treatments like corticosteroids, topical immunotherapy, or other medications can sometimes help stimulate hair regrowth. Managing stress and seeking support from healthcare providers or support groups can also be beneficial in coping with this condition. If you have any specific concerns or need more information, I'm here to help.
