Ok i checked and according to the room IDS (these dont include the 2 mysteryman related rooms as those are after all the normal rooms) there are 120 rooms in between the snowdin and hotland mazes. However cutting out rooms that you cant/are not supposed to acces before this point (so sorry, MTT’s house and the sans related rooms in snowdin) lowers this to 115. So not exactly but this does mean that 100 is in the range of possible rooms

@@Trombo002 I think they mean what would happen if you made the game let you carry the hotdogs into other rooms. In which case, I don't think anything all that interesting would happen. You'd just have hotdogs on your head in a different room than you're meant to.
That'd be fun to see during cutscenes.

Technically 100 since there's like 4 unused rooms that give errors right before Papyrus' battle + room_water_prebird in Waterfall. Those are technically rooms, maybe Toby counted off of the room ids?
There are also some "shop exit rooms" that are the same rooms as where the shops are located but different spawn...
My bet is Pap's room ID is 100 away from MTT's

Yup! This is also if you ignore all of the side paths and head straight to where you progress the game, which is unlikely to happen in basically any first playthrough.

You could also fall down on the ice sliding room, that's 2 more rooms ( one where you land and second when you revisit ice sliding room again ) Nontheless it is very close and about, thanks Toby for such amazing game!

Idea: because mettaton neo gives a lot of xp make every enemy him and remove the level cap to see how high level you can get
Mettaton NEO gives 10,000EXP when killed on a Neutral Route (on Genocide he gives somewhere around 40,000EXP but it's just whatever amount you need to get to LV19), and if you replaced literally every monster encounter with him (including Sans but excluding Flowey and Asgore) and you played your cards right, the most EXP you could earn would be 1,210,000EXP

Bruh, if Toby Fox saw it, Idk if he'll change "didn't we see this puzzle about a hundred rooms ago?" to "didn't we see this puzzle about 86 rooms ago?" or "didn't we see this puzzle about 95 rooms ago?"
Well, he did say ABOUT 100 rooms ago, meaning close to that number, so MTT is correct science they did not say EXACTLY 100 rooms ago.

Meaning if theres 5 fun value rooms it *is* actually 100 rooms
There's a lot of optional rooms that you didn't count, maybe adding those to the initial count would have been closer to 100

Perhaps Mettaton meant not only the rooms that you have already passed, but in general all the rooms in the game that go up to this maze. At least in such cases, it can be considered a real laboratory

The game crashes. Undertale Yellow is realy unstable. Most of the time you go of script, the game just crashes.

What happens if Sans judges you at a lower LV than you previous had? (Ex. You have 7 LV, he judges you, you load your latest save point where you previously killed monsters and now you’re going back to spare them, you now have less LV, could be LV 6 or lower, then go back to Sans.)
