The fact that everytime you mess with asgore he locks you in the room.
You aren't supposed to leave his battle in any way, you can't flee, you can't spare, and defeating him automatically makes you fight Omega Flowey, and Omega Flowey automatically teleports you to the end room after it finishes, so if you can leave his battle with hacks or mods, you get softlocked

What if you do a normal reset instead of a true reset after the true ending and vice versa(true reset before true endingis the vice versa)? Will flowey notice? Will your actions be remembered(like your pie preference)?

That ending is one I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone obtain before. The one where you didn’t spare or kill anybody because it’s normally impossible.

it treats it like you fleed and if you flee in non fleeable boss fight the game treats it like you defeated them, obviosly
Or spared them... or in case of Asgore, that you have no way to leave his fight, softlocks you
@@NuggetOrBowtiewell you can technically leave the fight (there has to be a way made possible) but you end up in another room after, so that's why going back to the original one doesn't work out well.

@@Bro-cx2jc That's actually right, the only way to leave his fight is by defeating Omega Flowey, and that teleports you into another room, that's why you get softlocked if you flee or spare Asgore. So yeah, you're completely right

I assume it would continue the same except you would be safe from getting damaged. But good question.

What if your lv is set lower than 1 or highter than 20?
LV does very few things except act as an identifier for what your other stats should be.
Don't quote me on it as I'm not positive, but I believe other stats have more significant impact than LV, such as your kill count and your Exp.
I think the only thing it really affects is some ending audio from Sans.

what happens if you never make a save in the entire game and then win against Omega Flowey? Will you have to play the game all over again?
Flowey will make fun of you for not saving at all, and Sans will ask you if you're someone who just likes a challenge in the phone call.
This part I'm not positive about, but I think when Flowey resets your file back before he turned Omega, there is an automatically generated default save file for you, with no items and all the base equipment.
But this would be interesting to get a refresher on.
What happens if you modify the credits.txt file in Undertale's folder? Will it modify the Special Thanks section, and if yes, could you cheat that section by making the file either blank or with every line being empty/contain a single character? And what will happen if you make the file have less/more lines than normal?

What if you make bosses into regular encounters
You just fight the boss. Sans and Undyne The Undying can be made/put into regular encounters because they’re not hardcoded, while I’m pretty sure other bosses like Toriel and Papyrus can’t be because they’re hardcoded.

@@gladsombrero7449as of now you can’t fight Asgore in a regular encounter because he is hardcoded, and you still do fight a boss in their actual battle after defeating them in a regular encounter. It’s a shame you can only put Sans and Undying in a normal encounter or replace them in their actual encounter though.
